| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Updated: Jul 12, 2009Bottle. Dark almost black appearance with a creamy, tan head. There are plenty of spices in the aroma; there’s some vanilla, molasses, cinnamon, dark roasted coffee beans. The mouthfeel is fantastic, thick and coating. I taste lots of dry coffee beans, black cherry, dark chocolate (high in cocoa), prune. The flavour is wonderfully rich and complex. This is a real keeper. aletales (73), , Oklahoma, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2009 Dark pour and tan head. Flavor was dominated by coffee taste. Bitterness seemed to linger too long. eyesolus (64), Mill Creek, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 17, 2009 Bottle; crazy soy sauce aroma; dark caramel head; medium body; pours dark except around the edges; I never really got the traditional chocolate or cream but found it to be syrupy and sticky; had bitterness like you would find in bakers chocolate; just not too crazy about this one.
