Very creamy stout, noticeable hints of coffee and dark roasted malts. Ends sweet and creamy and just slightly bitter.

50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of metal at first, when it warms up liquorice, chocolate and coffee emerge. Flavour is liquorice, roasted malts, coffee, some chocolate, some earthy hops. Nice roasted coffee finish. Medium to fullbodied. Don’t drink this one cold.

Wow. Tasty. Chock full of nuts and fruits. Super deep and complex on every level. This stout has it all. A champagne of stouts. Bravo.

Girlfriend drank to majority of this one. Dark but not opaque pour with a light creamy head. Lactic aroma with some light coffee and coco. FLavor is vanilla, cream and a pleasant like chocolate. Pretty good, for one my girlfriend picked out.

Bottle. Dark almost black appearance with a creamy, tan head. There are plenty of spices in the aroma; there’s some vanilla, molasses, cinnamon, dark roasted coffee beans. The mouthfeel is fantastic, thick and coating. I taste lots of dry coffee beans, black cherry, dark chocolate (high in cocoa), prune. The flavour is wonderfully rich and complex. This is a real keeper.

Dark pour and tan head. Flavor was dominated by coffee taste. Bitterness seemed to linger too long.

Bottle; crazy soy sauce aroma; dark caramel head; medium body; pours dark except around the edges; I never really got the traditional chocolate or cream but found it to be syrupy and sticky; had bitterness like you would find in bakers chocolate; just not too crazy about this one. (#50)
