Mar 21, 2009 Girlfriend drank to majority of this one. Dark but not opaque pour with a light creamy head. Lactic aroma with some light coffee and coco. FLavor is vanilla, cream and a pleasant like chocolate. Pretty good, for one my girlfriend picked out.

Mar 20, 2009 Updated: Jul 12, 2009Bottle. Dark almost black appearance with a creamy, tan head. There are plenty of spices in the aroma; there’s some vanilla, molasses, cinnamon, dark roasted coffee beans. The mouthfeel is fantastic, thick and coating. I taste lots of dry coffee beans, black cherry, dark chocolate (high in cocoa), prune. The flavour is wonderfully rich and complex. This is a real keeper.

Mar 15, 2009 Bought in Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam. The beer has a nice designed bottle. And it has a very delicious appearance with a dark brown body and a moderated beuge head. Fantastic aroma of fruits like fig and some plum, spices like cinnamon and vanilla, and of course the roasted things like chocolate and coffee. Smooth mouthfeel, creamy texture with a rich body: dark chocolate, dried fruits, roasted grains, vanilla and other spices like cinnamon. Lovely one.

Mar 14, 2009 Sampled thanks to shawn from cool springs. Pours a very dark brown with small light brown head and some chestnut highlights. Nose and flavor contain very rich roasty chocolate notes. Easy drinking and almost exactly what I look for in a stout, but carrying a pretty hefty pricetag.

Mar 14, 2009 500mL bottle. Poured a dark black with a brown head. The aroma was chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor was roasty, with a bit of coffee and chocolate. Very good.

Mar 11, 2009 16.9 oz. It was the bottle shape that caught my eye. Poured a solid black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, some roasted malt and coffee. Tasted very good- flavors of roasted malt, creamy, coffee and chocolate. A bit bitter in the aftertaste but I like that. I am glad that I bought two bottles.
