Bought in Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam. The beer has a nice designed bottle. And it has a very delicious appearance with a dark brown body and a moderated beuge head. Fantastic aroma of fruits like fig and some plum, spices like cinnamon and vanilla, and of course the roasted things like chocolate and coffee. Smooth mouthfeel, creamy texture with a rich body: dark chocolate, dried fruits, roasted grains, vanilla and other spices like cinnamon. Lovely one.

Sampled thanks to shawn from cool springs. Pours a very dark brown with small light brown head and some chestnut highlights. Nose and flavor contain very rich roasty chocolate notes. Easy drinking and almost exactly what I look for in a stout, but carrying a pretty hefty pricetag.

500mL bottle. Poured a dark black with a brown head. The aroma was chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor was roasty, with a bit of coffee and chocolate. Very good.

16.9 oz. It was the bottle shape that caught my eye. Poured a solid black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, some roasted malt and coffee. Tasted very good- flavors of roasted malt, creamy, coffee and chocolate. A bit bitter in the aftertaste but I like that. I am glad that I bought two bottles.

Decent cream stout. Not as creamy as lefthand or bells, but still good coffee choc flavor. A little bitter on the finish but overall a good cream stout.

Almost a black apperance with a brown head. And the aroma is as the color of the beer like coffee and roasted malt. Little to heavy for my taste.

bottle. Poured almost opaque black with only a trace of light gets through. Thin creamy tan head. Sweet molasses and espresso aroma. Low carbonation, a bit watery. Medium bitterness, some burnt cocoa and coffee flavours with some smokiness. Lingering syrupy coffee bitterness.

The aroma is of dark coffee and chocolate. Opaque coloring with a highly carbonated mocha head. Licorice, caramel, chocolate and toasted nuts round out the flavor. Palate is mostly creamy with some slight liveliness. Not too shabby, very drinkable as well.
