Very dark, syrupy ruby brown color with thick, milk chocolate colored head. Aroma is roasty malty and chocolatey. Very roasty malty and chocolatey flavor, also with some smoky hoppyness. Palate is quite full-bodied and low carbonated.

Poured dark chocolate brown. Roasted malt and chocolate in the nose. Tastes of the same, smooth and creamy in the mouth. Just enough hops for a nice clean finish. My favorite of their offereings so far.

Bottle. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet with a bit of coffee and chocolate smell. Taste follows the aroma, with a bit of a roasted taste. Very sweet, ends a bit bitter. Very nice.

Beige head. Really dark. Mild aroma, but very pleasant. Smooth going down the mouth. Coffee, chocolates, sweetness all around. A good reason to love cream stouts.

6/28/08 From the bottle. Aroma is sweet dried fruit and alcohol. Appearance is very dark brown with a low cream colored head. Flavor is big and complex, but light on sweetness for a cream stout. It has fruit, deep roast malt and a little alcohol. Mouthfeel is full bodied with a moderate carb texture and medium creaminess. Overall, not what I expected, but there’s a hell of a lot of interesting/complex goodness here.
