St Peters Cream Stout

1pt .9oz bottle from Bayville Package Store in Selbyville, DE...pours black with a tan frothy head...smell of roasted malts, coffee bean...taste is much of the same with hints of chocolate, slightly bitter and a bit of a toasted-burnt flavor...good lacing...I found the smell to be a little more dominating than the actual flavor but it was still a very enjoyable stout.

This black ale poured with a decent brown head. It is indeed very creamy. There is a dominant roasted malt flavor with chocolate overtones, a carbonated mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish. Overall, a really nice stout.

Rich mahogony color, malty nose...coffee undertones. Rich satisfying stout

Bottle-Dark brown with a lively tan head. Chocolatey, malty aroma with a hint of coffee. The taste is fairly rich with chocolate and coffee detected with a creamy bitter finish. Not bad.

the flavor is as the aroma, moderately intense but not very compelling. strong flavor of good malt and treebark with licorice. more bitter than sweet aftertaste. a nice tingly hop character. the body is ok and it does look quite good in the mug. it has a nice beige/brown head.

This beer was very dark, with tan head. It had a sweet chocolate aroma and flavor.

Sweet roasty aromas, chocolate, vanilla, with hints of coffee. Dark brown with a thin tan head. Smooth roasty flavors, chocolate, coffee, creamy vanilla, with a sweet finish.

Mahogany-tinted black with a tight brown head that shows remarkable retention and generates thick lace for the entire pint (it looks perfect). Very roasty, bitter chocolate, subtle ripe berry fruit, sweet mid-palate, dry finish. The best stout I’ve had in a while.
