Dark brown, small filmy head, smells of sweet bread and choc. Taste is..... good but seems to have fizzed out a bit. If it were more fresh I know that the chocolate cream tones would have opened up more. I’ll try again.... and again

Bottle. What a great, very satisfying stout! Very sweet aroma, pours a very dark chocolate color with a thin head that stays. Looks great. Very creamy with smooth aftertaste. Definite chocolate tones surround this ale. This is very good and very satisfying. Goes great with food or as an after dinner drink. Awesome!!! Cheers!

Appearance...BLACK!!! Sweet, coffeeish, malty aroma. Flavor was sweet malty and of coffee. To me this had the qualities of both dry stout and sweet stout.. kinda reminded me of Guinness, but also kinda reminded me of Mackeson’s. WONDERFUL STOUT!

Bottle. Black pour with an average creamy brown head that mostly diminished with good lacing. Moderate chocolate smoke aroma. Medium body with a creamy sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a small bitter finish with a long duration. Drinkable sweet stout.

Poured black, nothing to see on the edges. Just black. Head was most unimpressive for a stout at these or lower abv’s. The aroma was mostly chocolate with a touch of hops. Flavor was much of the same, very nice and finishing somewhat bitter. Mouthfeel was moderate to thick, although the flavor could have been a bit stronger (slightly watery... at least I wanted MORE). Good stuff, not great.

Bottle sampled with Beerded one. pours dark with a decent one and a half finger thick tan head. aroma of coffee, roast, chocolate(very nice nose). Flavor is sweet, chocolate, roast, bitter hoppy undertones, smooth, with a mild finish. Good body, good brew.

Bottle - Pours thick black with a very minimal off-white head. Aroma is strong malty chocolate with a touch of coffee. Palate is not as thick as the pour, but silky smooth. Taste is bitter chocolate and roasted coffee. A little bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall a pretty straight-forward cream stout with not much complexity in the taste. Not bad, but not great.

Pours a dark brownish black with almost no head. Looks flat to the sight, but is far from it. Aroma consists of sweet licorice candy and a small hint of coffee within a malt base. Flavor tends to be very sweet with heavy hints of coffee. There is also a hint of chocolate near the finish, which thens turns straight into coffee. This cream stout is so incredibly smooth to the tongue it’s almost unfathomable! Very enjoyable!
