UPDATED: FEB 5, 2013 500 mL bottle. Pours an opaque black from the bottle with bubbly tan head that dissipates to thin cap, leaving light lacing. Aroma of soy sauce, roasted malt, and raisins. Taste follows, with a creamy mouth and slightly bitter finish. Solid english stout.

Botella de 500ml. Copa Tulipa. Cuerpo medio-alto a pleno y carbonatación moderada. Paladar denso y picante. 500ml bottle. Tulip glass. Intense milk chocolate aroma as cap is removed. Very dark brown color & deep copper tints to the light. Beige froth, creamy but discrete crown. Herbs, slight lactic & roasted caramel to the nose. Maltous upfront displays spicy touch & slight bitter flavors of burnt coffee grains. Medium-high to full body. Moderate carbonation. Dense & spicy mouthfeel. Molasses, subtle fudge chocolate, touched by very light baked apple & light diacetyl notes, are shown in the middle while leaving an smooth & creamy sensation. Sweet but no cloying finish. Slight fresh wood & bitter/peppery aftertaste.

Coffee, chocolate, nuts, licorice and apples in the aroma. Almost black with a tan head. Medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter. Full body with a average to soft carbonation. Slightly oily texture. Overall a nice, rich stout, but i would like a bit more roasted notes.

Bottle from Tesco, Penarth on 21.08. Black with frothy beige head that vanishes quickly. Dark malt aroma with alcohol tones. Light carbonation with full body. Long bittersweet aftertaste follows coffee flavours, maybe raisins. Not as sweet as expected. Thumbs up.
