Cask at Jeruselum Tavern London Black in colour, good burnt malt nose and flavour. Really fine stout flavour. Excellent very long and very dry finish. Some of their beers can be a bit thin but when they get it right they are wonderful

500ml bottle at Porterhouse Cork. Pours a chocolate brown, with a pillowy tan head that lasts. Chocolate, coffee and smoked oak on the nose. Medium chocolatey sweetness and light smokey bitterness. Smooth, dry, sweet finish. Very very tasty beer.

500 ml bottle @home. Coffee brown with medium beige head. Coffee, burned toast and a hint of licorice. Full body with a long finish. It’s ok, but more hop character would make this a top notch beer and not a cold carbonated coffee.

500 ml bottle. Deep amber body, almost black with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, toast and mild coffee. Flavor is smooth, sweet dark malt, pleasant roast, chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Moderate bitterness, very well balanced. A nice and pleasent British stout.

A - Pours dark brown with a 1 finger tight bubbled head that tan in color. S - Sweet roasty malt, raisins, toasted toffee. T - Roasted malt, bitter cocoa, coffee grinds, oxidized raisins, hints of licorice, balancing hop bitterness on the end. M - Smooth, full bodied, good carbonation. Very enjoyable stout. Good roast and balance. It’s on the dry side but is very balanced. Serving type: bottle 05-01-2011

Real dark in colour and almost no head although lively with a medium carbonation. Aroma with toast, roasty and some leather. Quite light in flavour and very drinkable. Love the oval bottle.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2013 Rett og slett en grei standard stout. Ikke noe spesiellt ved denne. Et greit øl til riktig mat.
