Bottle, 500ml. Black colour with a medium brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and fresh citrus. Flavour is very malty with cocoa. Some woody notes. Dark chocolate on the palate with a little bitterness. Light to moderate carbonation. Alcohol evident but not too much. Really tasty and smooth on the palate.

Dark espresso like color with quite thick head. Creamy aroma and taste mixed of cream chocolate and coffee. Quite soft on the palate with noticeable alcohol taste. Not much aftertaste. Not my kind of beer exactly.

Pint bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a near black with purple highlights. A khaki colored head appears with the pour, but dissipates pretty quickly. The aroma is ashy, dark bitter chocolate, licorice, fruity pebbles. The taste is more on the dry bitter side. Mellow carbonation. Medium bodied.

Pours opaque mahogany with a massive beige head. Notes of dark fruits and roasted malt. This is not a thick stout but it does feel a tad oily in the mouth. Taste is coffee, dark chocolate and a hint of malt. Good carbonation. Nice.

500 ml bottle at home, into a snifter. ABV 6.5% Very dark brown colour, on the limits of black, with a small and thin brown head, with okay retention, leaving light lacing around the glass. The aroma has nice chocolate notes, liquorice, light vanilla. Taste of roasted malts and especially on the finish, a bit sweet, again light vanilla, cake, chocolate, mildly bitter aftertaste. Medium thick bpdy, soft carbonation, creamy texture and a bit oily palate. Very good stout, flavourfull and very drinkable.
