Bottle from Gambrinus (Tartu). Pours dark brown with a beige, medium, thick head. Head is not lasting long, but some of it will stay until you finish the beer. In aroma roasted malt/roasted bread. In sweet & bitter taste are hints of burnt sugar, coffee and maybe a little bit of chocolate. It’s summertime - have to drink it during winter again - then for sure I will be more generous in my rating as it’s really nice beer to drink at wintertime.

Awesome beer! Smooth, chocolatey, roasted bitter coffee. Did I mention smooth? Like their porter, done extremely well, and I highly recommend it to any dark beer fans!"

500ml bottle served in an English Pint glass. A: Pours a nice deep black color forming a big bubbled aired tan head. Medium retention and some lacings formed and left S: Intense on roasted malts. Sweet. With notes of dark chocolate and coffee T: Pretty much like the nose. Dominated by roasted malts. Sweet upfront followed by notes of dark chocolate and coffee. In overall, a biscuity beer finished by a good roasted malts bitterness M: Medium body and carbonation. Roasted malts bitterness as aftertaste O: Very drinkable. Quite smooth and pleasant Stout. 50 cl systembolaget.

Pours dark with little head, that quickly diminishes. Smell is slightly fruity, yeast smell overpowers the gentle notes. Taste is full-bodied, with a sweet note, balanced with low carbonation and a slight hoppy aftertaste. Very well balanced beer!

0,5 pullo@ rantakylä. Tumma, punertavaan taittava ruskea.

Belle stout.

From a bottle at Mondiale de la Biere 2014, Mulhouse. Dark black, almost no head. A bit roasty, caramel, a bit sweet, licorice. Tastes at first a bit sweet, than roasty, malty. Full body, roasty-bitter finish.

(1 year old, bought July 2013) Dark coffe / cola colour. Rather short lived beige head. Nose: Lots of coffee and dark chocolate, dark roasted malt, smoke, toasted. Taste & palate: Quite rich, quite dry (but not totally, there is some residual sweetness). This stout is quite fruity as well.
