Poured watery black with no head. Light aroma of malt. Taste was very watery. A hint of malt and chocolate but nothing really dominate.

Pitch black with light brown fast disappearing foam. The smell has hints of licorice. The taste is roasty with particle mouth feeling. Medium carbonation and chocolate. The aftertaste is dry and chocolatey. The beer is not insanely creamy and maybe a little over carbonated, but it is easy to drink and has a quite low price.

Black Cream Stout, a masterpiece of brewing. Very tight. Taste unforgettable. The flavor of prunes, roasted coffee, mild cocoa.

£1.50 from Tesco, Salford Precinct. Not seen in the other local Tesco - unsure why they stock differently. Lovely beer with a more subtle chocolate taste. Thick and creamy

Bottle, 0.50l, shared with Bojan. Pours deep brown with thin creamy tan-like head and fair lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, lactose, vanilla and grassy hops, Taste starts with moderate sweet roasted malt and chocolate, follows milky with licorice note, warming mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Very decent stout...

Praticamente nera, schiuma color nocciola non molto persistente. Aroma di caffè, cioccolato, malti tostati e caramello, leggerissimo erbaceo.

Bottle 500 ml. Dark brown, almost black color with good creamy foam. Aroma: dark fruits, chocolate, candy with the lightest hint of hops. Taste: lightly sweetness, coffee, velvety chocolate, caramel, roasted malt with light hop bitterness. Great stout!

Bottle at bro’s. I remember the first sniff frightened me - it seemed metallic and lactic, not at all nice, but then after some time it opened up, the metallic effect disappeared, and it was nice and thick, chocolaty, milky, malty. It tasted as nice and quite similar, with a bit of bitterness and coffee. Smooth creamy mouthfeel with thin carbonation. I ended up quite enjoying this.
