50 cl bottle from Centra Høvik. Pours clear brown with a small fizzy off white head. Malty aroma, with butterscotch notes. Sweet flavour that is artificial candy and cheap toffee. Low carbonation, light to medium body. Not very good this one.

500 ml green bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. Also available at Cardinbal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.9%. Mahogany-coloured beer, low off-white head. Malty and grassy aroma, some caramel and hay. Medium sweet and malty flavour, hints of caramel, with a slightly metallic finish. Interesting only if you suffer from coeliac disease.

Rune (6120) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 22, 2013
500ml bottle picked up at Kjeller 5. The best part was the beer’s appearance; deep, golden-brown body, decent beige head and dotted spots to the glassware. Smell of cat pee and bland malts. Watered caramel taste. Roasted malty ending, and again, diluted and empty. Sorry, but this was drain pour (Tromsø, 19.04.2013).

4/6/13. 500mL bottle thanks to a rep. Light brown pour with a small khaki head. Dusty, musty aroma with earthy hops, caramel, and that astringent gluten free sorgham nastiness. Sweet malty flavor with earthiness, caramel, apples, an almost minty sensation, and lingering sorgham. Not good, but not miserable for a GF.

Sample bottle. Sceptical after reading the reviews here, but my bottle was OK. Weak body, almost like a lager-beer, some toffee in the end. Had worse, and not as bad as i initially feared.

Bottle. It’s a brown beer, clear, and topped by a small, off-white head. Toffee, butterscotch and roasted malts in the aroma. Some vanilla hints. The flavor is roasted and butterscotchy, with a pleasant bitterness. Toffee too. Medium body, quite dry, with butterscotch, toffee and coffee in the end. Butterscotch isn’t much good, especially not in beer. 121110
