2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
50 cl bottle from Centra Høvik. Pours clear brown with a small fizzy off white head. Malty aroma, with butterscotch notes. Sweet flavour that is artificial candy and cheap toffee. Low carbonation, light to medium body. Not very good this one.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle (Koht, Tallin)
Very light fruity aroma, apple, and lots of caramel.Fairly watery palte, quite buttery retronasals, apple too. Butter also in the finish too. Taste is just some sweet caramel, and the sharpness of thde apple. Just too watery, bugt taste-wise it’s pretty OK. Pretty good for a gluten-free beer.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
A sample of one of my mum’s bottles from the brewery. Poured a dark copper colour with a thin white head, looked appealing enough. Highly acidic, tart aroma with some fruit bread element. Flavours of apples, pine needles and some soft fruit. Palate is very unpleasant metallic bitterness. A sad miss considering that their other gluten free beer is pretty good. Probably shouldn’t have brought half a box without trying it first...

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml bottle. Clear copper color. Tiny, chunky head. Looks rather disgusting. Sour, caramel, mint, buttery aroma. Roast, bitter, grassy flavor. Dry bitter mouthfeel.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Corti Brothers. Pours dark amber brown with a foamy beige head. Aroma is sort of sweet dark malt - but there’s a strange "cooked" aspect. Very different. Not nice. Med body. Flavor is rather herby with a oddly cooked malt flavor. It is finishing dry and bitter - but not in a hop identifiable way. Still, it beats the s--- out of a macro lager!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500 ml green bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. Also available at Cardinbal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.9%. Mahogany-coloured beer, low off-white head. Malty and grassy aroma, some caramel and hay. Medium sweet and malty flavour, hints of caramel, with a slightly metallic finish. Interesting only if you suffer from coeliac disease.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
500ml bottle picked up at Kjeller 5. The best part was the beer’s appearance; deep, golden-brown body, decent beige head and dotted spots to the glassware. Smell of cat pee and bland malts. Watered caramel taste. Roasted malty ending, and again, diluted and empty. Sorry, but this was drain pour (Tromsø, 19.04.2013).

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
4/6/13. 500mL bottle thanks to a rep. Light brown pour with a small khaki head. Dusty, musty aroma with earthy hops, caramel, and that astringent gluten free sorgham nastiness. Sweet malty flavor with earthiness, caramel, apples, an almost minty sensation, and lingering sorgham. Not good, but not miserable for a GF.
