Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht orangegelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, getreidig, leicht süß. Geschmack leicht malzig getreidig, minimal herb, blumig.

Bottle from Booths. Yellow-orange, no head. It’s an interesting lager with a flavour very much associated with a brewer like Shepherd Neame rather than St Peters. It has a potent malt-hop and full-bodied taste.

Bière blonde pale et translucide. Pas de mousse. Nez sur les céréales, miel. Pas très gouteuse, légèrement amère. Sans grand intérêt...

Bottle. 5.2%. Best before 12.11.13. Pours a slightly hazy pale straw yellow with an off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma is sweetish and spicy, with hay and hops. A bit cloying. Flavour is sweetish with spicy hops ...and a wee bit smoked? Dry, tart finish, again with a hint of smoke, as well as grassy hops. Overall okay, but somewhat cloying. Also the smoked notes are a bit weird for the style, but isn’t really a drawback. 05.10.13.

Bottle from the St Peters brewery. Poured a clear light golden colour with a rapidly dissipating white head. Light aroma of corn, cereal and melon. Initial sweet malty flavour with hints of peach and orange. Palate is dry grassy hops, tart lemon zest and bready malt.

Bottle from Budgens Islington. Malty aroma. Hazy gold lasting thin white head. I mean it’s alright if you like that sort of thing. Very Czech I would say. Bit of rubber. Not good certainly. Nothing that will worry Franconia. Settles down. Kinda ok. Still my previous comments stand. Some biting hop on the finish.
