pivnizub (8000) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAY 6, 2013
Flache Flasche: Golden to deep golden, a bit hazy, stable and creamy white head, distinctive herbal-grassy traces in the bitter and fruity nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite dry and light to medium bodied; dry, tart and prettily lingering herbal-spicy finish, some bisquity malt serves as a counterpart. Hats off! An unexpectedly well crafted Lager from good old England…

rauchbier (3396) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2013
Bottled version, 5.2%. Gold, fluffy and moderately lasting white head and good condition. Pleasant sweet grain and assertive hop resin in the nose, quite sweet in the mouth with a slight tangy fruitiness and a balancing hop bitterness that becomes a little dominant with time, lingering chalky grain notes, some fruitiness and an assertive bitterness in the finish.

Svesse (5207) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 16, 2012
(Draught at Jerusalem Tavern, Farringdon, London, 20 Nov 2012. 5.2%) Golden amber colour with brief, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of toast, orange peel and toffee. Malty, fruity taste with toast, orange peel, dark bread and a certain citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slightly sharp carbonation. A touch of sweetness. A lot better than your average pale lager. Quite nice.

HogTownHarry (5655) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 31, 2012
Draught at The Jerusalem Tavern. Clear gold, small but lasting fizzy white head. Grassy and perfumed semi sweet aroma - simple. Taste is pretty generic - sweet and weedy, a bit of alcohol, maybe a touch corny. Average body, sharp carbonation, quick finish. Tick.
