Bright, clear, medium yellow with a stark white head that lasts. Once warmed up a bit, this actually has a decent aroma to it. Doughy, some light fruit coming through, and a nice amarillo nose. Light body, lively carb, and a surprisingly bitter finish. My only real complaint is that the hop bitterness amplifies inordinately across the palate and escalates to intense soapiness in the lingering finish. If not for the finish, this would easily score much higher for me.

Bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Being a gluten-free beer I didn’t have high hopes for this but it was pleasantly surprising. Decent pilsner with decent hop flavours. Would have again.

Bottle from Ade. Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of grassy hops with a hint of caramel. Light-medium body, average carbonation, a little heavy on the bitterness in finish. Decent enough.

"meh...i hope it doesn’t come to this one day. kind of a premium price for a run of the mill gluten free beer. darkish yellow...cereal tpe grainy aroma and taste, a hint of sweetness (sorgum?) and some grassy hops. pretty standard beer...not worth the price."

OK, I’m back from a 4 year gin and red wine hiatus after I stopped consuming gluten! Only GF beer I actually enjoy. I loved their apricot ale in the same lovely bottle. Obviously, this beer is lacking, but imho this beer is a small GF miracle. Only GF beer I’ve had free of a sharp, almost sour, upfront mouth-feel, and with some actual finish that isn’t metallic or some funky non-beer aftertaste. This beer is a start, praise God!
