A clean, crisp gluten-free ale with a pilsner style lager finish and aromas of citrus and mandarin from American Amarillo hops.

Bright, clear, medium yellow with a stark white head that lasts. Once warmed up a bit, this actually has a decent aroma to it. Doughy, some light fruit coming through, and a nice amarillo nose. Light body, lively carb, and a surprisingly bitter finish. My only real complaint is that the hop bitterness amplifies inordinately across the palate and escalates to intense soapiness in the lingering finish. If not for the finish, this would easily score much higher for me.

Bottle from Oddbins,West End. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - pale malt and lemon if you really look for it. Smell a bit of missing gluten if that makes sense. Taste - sweet biscuits and lemon. Some bitterness comes back at the finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - lacks freshness but ok since I’m thirsty.

DAA at Majavatnet with my stuffed nose. Take away from Levanger. Bottle 500ml. Pours small, clear gold with a frothy, fast fading white head. Nose is moderate malt and citrus floral. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter with a somewhat lasting dry citrus finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is avarage.

Bottle, 500 ml from Vrutak, Zagreb. Clear golden with foamy white head. Hoppy aroma. Grainy, light hoppiness in flavor. Light bodied.

Clear golden amber, small quickly dissipating off-white head. Nose is sweet doughy malt, sickly caramel. Flavor is doughy malt, grain notes with caramel and vague citric-grassy hops. Weirdly oily moutfeel I can’t quite describe. Not my cup of gluten-free tea.

Bottled and labeled as St Peter’s Sorgham Beer: Gluten Free. Not sure I would have purchased if stated as "G-Free" weird. At any rate. Skunky aroma - sharp and abrupt flavor... Odd. Not a fan at all. There have to better ways to make a decent tasting gluten-free beer.

bottle LCBO: clear golden body under a white head. Sweetbread, hops, and citrus in the nose. Flavours of caramel and grassy hops are there, but come up inadequate without any malt to back it them up - typical of gluten free beverages. That said, the sorghum was surprisingly decent. Crispy finish. Not horrible.

Caramel/ heavy toffee flavor, unique for a gluten free beer. A big vienna lager flavour. English Style pale ale notes. No head overtop a straw body tinted with a subtle amber. Better than most gluten free beers I’ve had.

Bottled 500ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Clear golden coloured, minimal white head that went away fast, weak grainy nose. Sweetish malty, light grainy, slight cardboard and cereals with short finish. Some late bitterness shows up just for a second or two in the aftertaste.

Modest off white loose head, clear honey golden body. Sweet aroma with malts, toffee and honey. Malty taste with some grassy hops, toffee notes, dusty grainy hops. Slightly sticky, normal body, modest carbonation. Grainy finish with bitterish malts. Interesting variant. But I got no citrus. [50cl btl, abv4.2%, BB23jun15, B@Eurospar]
