COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available brewery conditioned and cold filtered in 500ml bottles. Cask: Special - 2011 JDW Autumn Beer Festival.
"English Halcyon malts are used together with lager malts. Golding hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive light, golden ale similar in character to a full bodied Czech lager."

Bottle from Tesco. Pours golden with little or no head. Over carbonated, interesting honey finish though, probably much better on cask.

Reviewed from notes (2008). Jerusalem Tavern in London ... A: A thicker golden with a fast departing off white head S: Floral hops and sweet malts with a hint of pear? T: The floral hops are the first thing that hits as the malts balance out the beer towards the middle. delicious. M: Medium body.. smooth.. refreshing O: Enjoyable.. would have another.. especially with peanuts at the pub..

Crosse Keys Spoons. Clear gold beer. Residual white head. Light dry palate with zero carbonation. Hops deliver a light orange flavour but also a pretty intense hops bitterness. Touch of tangerine and some honey well buried. Dry finish.
