"English Halcyon malts are used together with lager malts. Golding hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive light, golden ale similar in character to a full bodied Czech lager."

Bottle. Golden amber colour small white head. Aroma is very lager like. Taste is grainy, resin and sweet. reminds me of a Bohemian pilsner as mentioned in commercial description. A hybrid of lager and ale. Nice for a change but not a beer I would be drinking on a regular basis. Could be more of favourite with discerning pilsner drinkers.

At a private tasting in Serbia with markoijelena and luttonm. "Pour it" orange going amber, a bit hazy with a nice foam. Nose: bread notes, a bit of wired feel. Mouth: right bitterness, bit lack of body but ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not complex as others St.Peters (ex Honey Porter). A simple Golden Ale, with a balanced bitterness and a slightly aroma of honey/caramel. Not persistence at palate.

"Surprising slightly skunky light hop aroma. Light bodied. Flavor well balanced between sweetish caramel malt and spicy hops with a bit of pine. Not bad, but a little light and boring. I definitely prefer the darker brews from St peters."
