3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Golden amber colour small white head. Aroma is very lager like. Taste is grainy, resin and sweet. reminds me of a Bohemian pilsner as mentioned in commercial description. A hybrid of lager and ale. Nice for a change but not a beer I would be drinking on a regular basis. Could be more of favourite with discerning pilsner drinkers.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear dark amber color, practically no head at all. Light to medium body, soft to average carbonation. Aroma is hops, citrus, grass. Medium bitter with bitter hoppy finish. Like an average Czech pilsener.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bread, fruits and grass in the aroma. Golden with a white head. Light to medium sweet and medium bitter. Light body with a average carbonation. A bit bitter and dry in the finish. Overall not my kind of ale, easy drinkable and not bad, but not interesting or exciting for me.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml btl 4.7abv, b@Eurospar - also observed@Eide (Meny distribution).
Modest pearl head, some curtain, golden body, not totally clear.
Scents of hops, sweet malts, bread, yeast, faint hint of grapefruit,
Chocolate malts in the taste, fruity fresh too, nice hops building up under it.
Smooth and slightly grainy to palate. Well bodied.
Nice gentle bitter ending with breads, dark malts and the final part of hops.
I feel overall that this is a quality ale.

500 ml bottle from Waitrose. First beer from St Peter’s. Not bad but nothing out of the ordinary. Grass aromas, golden and clear to pour with moderate white head. Light body and smooth finish. Quite refreshing but lacking in character and bitterness.
