DougShoemaker (2560), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 28, 2008 Aroma of rich malt, apples and caramel, light copper, small custard head, some lace. Flavour is a woody malt, fresh wet hops, give this light bodied, very well balanced ale a near perfect bitter finish. Terrific! Man when these St Peters beers are fresh...o.m.g.!

I tried this beer on August 2, 2008 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent golden colour with red hues and high effervescence. The head was off-white, rocky, and lasted a while. The aroma was grassy malt with a little floral hoppiness. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was citrusy, grapefruity hops, and some grassy malt. Sammy (3041), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 15, 2008 Not a bad session ale, pours a golden colour with a bit of white head. Grainy and easy mouthfeel. Drying malt, not a bad finish, a little hops, drinkable for sure. gilvanblight (341), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Aug 14, 2008 Very orange cloudy orange. Clingy head. Hoppy scent with a touch of spice (correander). Has that distinct St. Peter’s taste. Toned down from their other beers (that I have tried). Lots of hops, something oddly sweet, with a typical bitter finish. Not a bad brew. The finish takes it far from greatness but that initial mouth is rather nice. mabel (1633), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 13, 2008 [1549-20080726] 500mL bottle. Mild straw grains aroma has a tinge of bad breath yawn to it. Clear, light brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy white foam. Grains flavour has hints of citrus leaves and a slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Drinkable.
(w/ jerc) Geuzelambix (61), København, Denmark Aug 8, 2008 Bitter to start with and then quite sweet in the aftertaste - with a touch of honey. Not a bad beer at all, but the typical English flatness and the disappointing aftertaste draws down in the overall.
