I like this beer! A bottle from the LCBO. Large, frothy white head that lasts and has excellent lacing. Nice amber colour. Aroma of moderate malt, flowers, pine and garlic mustard plant. Medium to full mouth feel with soft carbonation. Slightly acidic finishing moderately bitter. Nicely dry and bitter.

Jan 3, 2010 500 mL Bottle. Gold-orange body with a small foamy white head that quickly settles to a ring. Sweet light malts dominate the aroma with subtle notes of tangerine, grass, and wildflowers. Nice dry hoppy taste, smooth swallow, and a smooth hop-bitter finish. Good balance in its every aspect.

As the name suggests, poured a golden yellow color. Very small foam head, maybe 1/2 cm.
The first mouthful was surprising, as it was very bitter tasting. Turned out to be a very enjoyable beer.

Dec 28, 2009 bottle, Waitrose Abergavenny. Clear golden colour with a mid-sized white head. Malty with flavours of citrusy hops and a touch of orange marmalade. Shy hints of barnyard detectable.

Dec 13, 2009 This tasted eerily similar to the Organic English Ale. Piney resinous hops that I don’t associate with golden ale. Then a lingering sort of off-ish taste that I could not put my finger on. Not bad but not Golden.

Nov 28, 2009 Bottle at my sister’s, source not known. Amber gold with a lacey white head. Strong aroma of fresh malts and orange peel. Tangy fruit flavours with a hint of marmade and some dry hoppiness. Delicate and enjoyable.

Nov 25, 2009 The only bad thing I can say about this one is that the aroma was a bit skunky for my liking. But the flavour was wonderful - nicely hopped with a very mild bitterness. Very smooth indeed.

Oct 30, 2009 Golden orange color with a small white head, fades fast. Aroma is slightly green, semi skunky and grassy mellow hops. Flavor is light, sweet with faint grassy hops.
