3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours amber with lasting head. Smells dusty, wheaty malt with faint dark fruits. Strong full ale taste. Light palate nicely balanced cream and apples.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged vase shaped pint glass at home on 17th March 2016. Lunchtime drink with some rustic brown bread and pate. Clear golden pour, weak and wispy white head, even with a robust pour. Mild aroma of hops, taste also hop centric with a bitter nature and I can see why the brewery claim it is ’similar in character to a full bodied Czech lager’. The malts came into their own as the beer warmed a little and it became a little sweeter. Refreshing, thirst quenching and an ideal beer for my little meal.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with a small diminishing white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity malts, hops. Flavour is like that too. Some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Overall similar to a lager, nice but I’ll probably forget this one.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours clear golden color with medium white head. Smell of malts, caramel, yeast.
Thin body with medium carbonation. Bittersweet taste. Aroma of malts, caramel, yeast, herbal and floral notes. Finish is dry.
Overall, a bit disappointed with this one. It feels like lager, lacking any distinctive character. Quite a boring beer.

From a bottle, that s has some grassy hops, and lager malts on the nose. Clean tasting, with a dry finish.

Butelka 500 ml. Z?oty do bursztynowego kolor, piana biala mala. Delikatna wo? chmielu i owocow . W smaku podobnie - wszystko dobrze zbalansowane ale brakuje punktu zaczepienia. Owoce orzechy tosty i bardzo cienki chmielowy finisz.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy golden color with a few large bubbles. Aroma is malty with a bread crust note. Taste is also slightly malty at first but gets hoppy in the middle taste and continues towards the finish. Aftertaste lingers slightly bitter and dry. Body is medium with low carbonation. Overall it’s quite enjoyable and easy to drink.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Colore dorato carico, carbonazione all’inglese, scarsa, scarsa anche la schiuma.
Profumo erbaceo, maltato, leggero fruttato, delicato.
Sapore dolce dei malti, amaro finale leggero.

500ml bottle. Golden with a white head. Light to medium sweet and medium bitter. Light body with a average carbonation. A bit bitter and dry in the finish. Overall not my kind of ale, easy drinkable and not bad, but not interesting or exciting for me.

Cask in the Jerusalem Tavern with Fletcher. Remarkably I can barely remember anything about this beer - it was gold rather than yellow, decent balance with a moreish bitter finish. Smashable.
