A traditional English porter made with honey for a truly unique aroma and taste. A delicous mellifluous beer

Bottle 0,50L. Clear, dark ruby/amber colour with small, frothy, light brown head and nice lacing. Very strong floral honey aroma with some chocolate and espresso in the background. Taste is light sweet with honey and not so pleasant soapy mouthfeel, while finish is light bitter. This honey taste goes way on the soapy side and after drinking half of a beer, itís became annoying and unpleasant. Aroma and appearance promises a lot, but flavour and watery palate takes away my good opinion about this beer. Donít waste your time with it.

Really do not like the porter. Too much honey and raisin notes. But in general, is not so bad

Zarkam (531) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 9, 2015
500ml bottle from a supermarket in st. Petersburg, dark brown colour, small mostly lasting frothy beige head, lacing. Aroma is mostly floral honey with moderate nutty and grainy malts and some minor hops that are barely distinguishable from beneath all the honey aroma. Taste is initially moderately sweet with light acidity, turning into mildly bittersweet finish with a roasty feel. Medium body, dry mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Way too thin for a porter and the honey was way too dominant and felt a bit artificial.

Bottle 50 CL. Pours black with small brownish head. Notes of honey, chocolate, caramel, coffee. Heavy of caramel and honey in this. Way too sweet and thin bodied to be good. But still drinkable.

0.5l bottle. Black color with medium sized brown head. Strong smell and aroma of honey and intense floral essential oils. Taste starts sweet and takes sudden turn into bitterness. Change could have been more subtle, but still good.

At a private tasting in Serbia with markoijelena and luttonm. "Pour it" black with chestnut skin reflexes and a thin off white head. Nose: sweet, honey a bit disturbing. Mouth: watery, candy for kids and a residual bitterness. Watery. Crazy experiment but no I don't like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma is strongly honey but excessively so. The taste is a bit more mild, thankfully, but this isnít the best flavoured porter that Iíve ever had.
