500ml bottle at home clear dark brown with a small tan head. Medium body with low carbonation. Has a nice sweet start with a bitter finish. Chocolate, honey, malts and spices. A nice tasty sweet porter.

Kraftig honningaroma, som går over til karamell. Litt tynn og søt. Overdrevent honningpreg, og for lite malt.

Bottle 500ml @ home
Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, heather honey floral and hint of soap. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a honey finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Hajuvettä on aromissa, liikaakin. Mutta kyllä siinä hunajainen maku on. Vähän liian synteettinen, mutta kuitenkin. Ei aivan paha.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear dark brown, thick beige head. Aromas of honey, vanilla, floral. Taste is quite odd, strong vanilla oakiness, sweet honey and cream, and big floral hit too. Bit much for me. No roastiness, and a bit thin.

Lots of vanilla and honey aroma. The taste is quite different though, thin and medicine-like. Not very porter-style, more like dark lager.

0,5L bottle, BB 18.11.2014. Pours dark ruby-brown with tan head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet and perfumy, flowers, honey. Flavor is sweet and bitter, flowers, honey, roasted malt, caramel. Finish is lingering nutty bitter. Overall: I can honestly say I haven’t had beer like this before, so additional overall point for doing something different (in a good way).

Bottle. Dark brown color with tiny head. Strong artificial aroma of perfume (it’s not a honey!) with notes of chocolate. Taste is bitter with continuous unpleasant perfume aftertaste. Strange beer.

Bought at Kaufland, Umag, Croatia. Looked like Coca-Cola while pouring, reddish tint, small but lasting brownish head. Very strong dominating spicy honey aroma, like a salutary honey candy, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. Although taste leaves some light stout-like bitterness, strong honey aftertaste prevails in the finish. To much honey, which can be good for enthusiasts. Interesting dessert beer for a glass or two, not much more.
