Sweet toffee and orange/citrus aroma with some spicy melanoidins. Clear amber covered by a bubbly, off-white blanket. Sweet toffee/caramel flavour with not a small amount of UK hops and notes of peanuts. Medium bitterness and slight tang of elevated alcohol contents. Also a little salty. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slight bitter finish. phaleslu (592), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 26, 2009 Bottle from Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton. Pours a clear gold-copper color with a tiny white head that leaves only a little film on the beer. Aroma of hops, malts, citrus, and metallic notes. The flavor also had a metallic quality, possibly from preservatives, that distracted from an otherwise decent, simple hops-malt-citrus IPA. Light-medium bodied, with a light hoppy finish. stobbe74 (714), Denmark

Hazy golden, thick white head, nice lacing, streams of carbonation. Skunked celery flavor, beginning to end. 5.5% ABV tastes more like 8.5%. Thin mouthfeel. Unique and not all that bad if it wasn’t for the skunkiness. anwegmann (6), Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Very good. Strong flavor. Nice and hoppy. Color is faded brown - not impressive. But overall, an excellent beer. daknole (3050), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
