Poured into a perfect pint. 4.0 A: Clear light orange color. One and a half fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is about average and tons of lacing is left behind. 3.5 S: This is a weird one. Instead of hops taking the stage, there’s a strong mineral component with a secondary lemon. Under that you find earthy and herbal hops. A touch of caramel, toastiness, and grainy malts. Not bad. 3.25 T: The taste also makes me question whether this is really an IPA. It’s only mildly bitter without much hoppiness otherwise. The focus is again mineral and light fruits. Toasty, grainy malts and caramel. 3.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lightly creamy. 3.25 D: Good enough and hits the spot if you are in the mood for something English. Bottle from Seoul plaza, Bratislava. Orange golden color with medium white head. Quite bad malty aroma with notes of hops, yeast. Taste starts with lager maltiness followed by shy citrus hops. Not tasty.

Light aroma of hops with floral notes. Pours clear honeygold with a tight white thin head. Tastes understated for an ipa with floral hops but not over the top. Good.

Bottle @ home. Pour is golden with fluffy white head. Aroma is heavy grain with some roasted malt, light herbal and earthy hops. Taste is grain and light toast with big herbal component. Some pine comes through, with some floral to add. Body and carbonation are medium light.

500 ml bottle. Appearance: Copper body with a small head of 1 finger. Aroma: bready malt, fruity hops, grassy tones, caramel and a bit of odd note in the back which is close to a Fresh Herring (?) Taste: medium bitter and sweet, orange zest and grass, light skunky in the back with quite some caramel befor it finishes quickyl with some herbal, spicey hops. medium body and soft carbonation. A bit of different IPA, with the herbalness in the finish.

Odd tall flask shaped bottle poured. Pours a murky golden orange with a thin patchy head. Big hops and subtle grain aroma. Majority dry flavor with a nice balance of malt and hops. Slightly bitter hop finish. This is definitely different then my usual IPA, and it’s really nice to have a big change. Kind of a thirst quenching IPA, and I thought that before I read on the bottle that the original purpose for the beer was exactly that. Something about this beer is really tasty. I don’t know. I thought it was good. Not going to let anyone persuade my opinion. Good stuff.
