Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a decent looking somewhat clear copper color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some light stringy lacing sliding into the beer. The smell was based around some English malts coming through in the normal soapy sort of way but still allowing a decent sweet grassy hops to make a light presence. The taste was mainly balanced between the malts and the hops but slightly at different times from bitter to sweet and vice versa. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was semi - smooth that honestly mad me think twice as if this was really an EIPA. Overall, not a bad beer just seemed to be one that might make Americans some getting used to.

Dark Golden Color, almost Amber; Clear; Small and quickly dissipating white Head - at first strong malt aroma, sweetness; then hoppy, herbal aroma, light bitterness - medium body, slick texture, average to rather soft carbonation - long, bitter finish.

Bottle at Special Brews. Pours a hazy golden brown color with a very small white head on it. Nose is grassy, but seems slightly old, which is unsurprising given the distance it’s been imported. Taste is slightly bitter, but nothing remarkable. OK.

See Dark gold, 1 finger frothy off white head Smell Hops, doughy maltiness and lemon/citrus Taste Tangy, crisp bitterness. Sucks your mouth in a bit. Not much malt to begin with but develops more as you drink on. Hints of citrus. Mouthfeel Light carbonation. Crisp and dry finish. Pleasant IPA, not heavily hopped like American IPAs but nicely hoppy and bitter.

Odczucie: Ciało średnie-, wysycenie niskie+, faktura gładka, aksamitna.
Całość: Całkiem ciekawe brytyjskie IPA

Disappointment. Malt dominates. Not comparable to regular IPA. Decent beer, but should not called IPA. Might be that this is what IPA used to be - but now ....

Bottle at home from backlog notes 07. Pours a hazy dark golden/light amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, grainy, light citrus, light herbal, toasted bread, thinner, not much to get excited about here, not sure about age, pass.

Aroma: subdued hop aroma, malt dominates the nose. Subtle grapefruit citrus but mainly what hops come thru are very piney. Appearance: part for the style. slightly haze honey - orange color. Taste: very malty. Bready, toasty, grainy, pilsnery sweetness balanced delicately by an assertive piney hoppiness. Overall: medium-low bodied full-flavored English IPA. great representation of a refined old-world IPA. I feel like I drinking a bit of history.
