3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SarkyNorthener (604) - Walsall (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2012
First review of 2013. Bottle at home with family watching Jools Holland celebrations. Pale amber colour. Biscuit aroma. Taste is hops and astringent bitterness. Nothing else stands out, just the bitterness. This is what I would expect a old fashioned victorian IPA to taste like. An OK beer but will not suit some.

bottled, thanks to mowbeer for sharing. clear amber with a thin head; steady aroma of raw grain and red grape; pleasant but with just a light bitterness and unremarkable finish
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Bamsen78 (819) - Sřnderborg, DENMARK - DEC 10, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of hop and not much else. Bitter, if watery, taste of hop. Not much to write home about.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bibendum (117) - ITALY - DEC 4, 2012
Indian Pale ale che non convince. Dovrebbe essere un cavallo di battaglia per un birrificio inglese...e invece č una delusione.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 jonnyt (27) - USA - NOV 28, 2012
Bottle. Pours light and clear with little head. Light malt and hops in the aroma and lovely biscuit taste with light rounded fruit and crisp hops. Slight malt afterwards. Very drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Martinus (1779) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 22, 2012
Blond beer, little white head. Hoppy aroma, Brittish hops, fugle (?), malts, wort, vitamaltz and biscuit. Bitter, sweet malty flavour. Bitter finish with English hops.
Quite enjoyable. It wouldn’t keep up against a modern IPA, but nice enough in it’s own right.
(50cL bottle shared with friends)
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 sfuen03 (139) - Barcelona, SPAIN - NOV 18, 2012
50 cl. bottle. Dark amber color, white head, good lacing. Rich fruity aroma. Medium body and a very rich complex taste, very well balanced. Bitter finish. A very good one.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 seritomi (260) - HUNGARY - NOV 5, 2012
Sötétsárga a cucc, habja tört fehér.

Nice balance between malts in the front and bitter on the end. Acidity, but not tart. Very drinkable.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Wittales (438) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Appearance was clear honey amber gold with diminishing off white creamy 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are sweet caramal, crystal, cara chocolate malts, soft musky herbal, spicey hops, no alcohol present. Taste was sweet caramel malt backbone then grassy, piney, earthy, spicey bitter resinous hops. Palate was crispy smooth CO2 with light-meduim body, then long dryish bitter musky spicey finish. Not my cup of tea, mate...
