Indian Pale ale che non convince. Dovrebbe essere un cavallo di battaglia per un birrificio inglese...e invece č una delusione.

500ml bottle served in a Pint glass. A: Pours a reddish copper color forming a medium creamy and charming yellow head. Good retention and tons of foamy lacings formed end left in the glass S: Skunky British style hops and caramel malts, mainly. Sweet toffee. Ale yeasts T: Follows the nose, sweet toffee upfront. Caramel malts, citrus fruits, skunky and flowery hops. Moderate stingy hops bitterness lasts in the end M: Light body and medium carbonation. Citrus and skunky hops bitterness aftertaste O: Easy drinking British style session Ale. Could be better but still an honest one [ BA Review @ 10/21/2012 ]

That was exactly what i expected from English IPA . Amber/copper color , with small head. Aroma of bread , caramel and spicy hops. Same pleasant notes in taste. I don't see any sense of comparing this beer with American IPA. In my opinion there are different styles of beer. And this IPA is underrated because of high flavored American beer.

"Mellow but pleasant blend of light fruits, a little citrus, grain and cardboard malt. A little lighter than I like for the style. Bitter enough, but lacking the floral aromatics."

500ml bottle from Burg Bieren. Clear golden/amber with a small white soapy head. Medium body with light carbonation. Sweet and bitter with some light smokiness. Pine, (smoked) malts, peach, yeast and hops. Somehow St. Peters never disapoints me.

0,5l fles gedeeld met nikos en jerommeke. Helder Amberkleurig met weinig schuim. In de geur komt het gehopte karakter niet echt naar boven in de smaak iets meer met grapefruit en ander citrus fruit. Medium body.

Golden pour with white head. Slight hop aroma. Light malty flavors, hint of citrus and pound cake flavors. Good hop presence. Short but decent biter hop finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark gold/amber with a white head. Aroma is light malts, light toast, hint of orange... Medium body, medium carbonation. Caramel, orange, sponge cake, light wood, lemon, light bitterness to finish. A bit boring. OK.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a decent looking somewhat clear copper color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some light stringy lacing sliding into the beer. The smell was based around some English malts coming through in the normal soapy sort of way but still allowing a decent sweet grassy hops to make a light presence. The taste was mainly balanced between the malts and the hops but slightly at different times from bitter to sweet and vice versa. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was semi - smooth that honestly mad me think twice as if this was really an EIPA. Overall, not a bad beer just seemed to be one that might make Americans some getting used to.
