Smell was fantastic. If only the smell could match the taste. Has a very strong aftertaste of metal. Too much malt, I feel for this type of ale. Overall, a very bad IPA. It was more like a malty bitter ale that was fermented in a brass barrel.

Aroma of malt, caramel, bread, some fruits and floral notes, mild hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Mild and fairly pleasant English IPA.

Odd tall flask shaped bottle poured. Pours a murky golden orange with a thin patchy head. Big hops and subtle grain aroma. Majority dry flavor with a nice balance of malt and hops. Slightly bitter hop finish. This is definitely different then my usual IPA, and itís really nice to have a big change. Kind of a thirst quenching IPA, and I thought that before I read on the bottle that the original purpose for the beer was exactly that. Something about this beer is really tasty. I donít know. I thought it was good. Not going to let anyone persuade my opinion. Good stuff.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 Awesome bottle....a decent ipa but towards the coffee, toffee, caramel, biscuit end...not the fruity, citrus end....drinkable, but not for me

Light copper coloured beer, crystal clear with a weak foamy head. Smell is malty yoghurt fruitiness. Apples and grapes and some pepper. Taste is full and bitter, deliciously hoppy. Dry astringent finish. Wood.

500ml bottle served in a Pint glass. A: Pours a reddish copper color forming a medium creamy and charming yellow head. Good retention and tons of foamy lacings formed end left in the glass S: Skunky British style hops and caramel malts, mainly. Sweet toffee. Ale yeasts T: Follows the nose, sweet toffee upfront. Caramel malts, citrus fruits, skunky and flowery hops. Moderate stingy hops bitterness lasts in the end M: Light body and medium carbonation. Citrus and skunky hops bitterness aftertaste O: Easy drinking British style session Ale. Could be better but still an honest one [ BA Review @ 10/21/2012 ]

That was exactly what i expected from English IPA . Amber/copper color , with small head. Aroma of bread , caramel and spicy hops. Same pleasant notes in taste. I don't see any sense of comparing this beer with American IPA. In my opinion there are different styles of beer. And this IPA is underrated because of high flavored American beer.
