3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: golden to amber. Medium head.
aroma: to hops, mainly, with reminiscences of grass, hay, dry undergrowth and, maybe, pine.
Flavor: dry-hoppy start and very lasting. Notes of hay, herbs, grapefruit and orange’s skin; a little slight of eucaliptus. Resinous hoppiness.
Palate: light to medium body. Medium carbonation.
Remark: lovely resinous hoppiness, simple but good IPA.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
I have found st. peters to have good, solid beers but this was a bit of a let down. Maybe i got a bad bottle however the aroma was skunky, no floral, pine or citrus attributes. Flavor was yeasty and waxy, with a sour finish. Overall i wasnt pleased, but i would be willing to try it again in the future, based on thier other offerings. Originally rated on 10/6/2008.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Clear golden amber colour with a minimal head dissipating quickly. Aroma: very sweet caramel malt, toffee, fruit. Taste: sweetish caramel malt, fruit, toffee, and surprisingly bitter finish given the sweetness of the malts.Thin-medium body, soft carbonation. Not bad at all.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
500ml bottle from Waitrose. Pours deep rich brown with quickly dissipating slightly orangey white head. Aroma treacly with earthiness, savoury notes and damp wood. Nicely bitter and full mouthfeel.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: JUL 8, 2016 This was just bitter, unclean, badly balanced, and way too expensive. I had this at a pub and sent half of it back because it started leaving a really bad taste in my mouth - something I’ve never done before. Strong bitter and herbal notes, unbalanced and almost like something’s off. Nope, not my thing.

Közepes, tartós hab, rezesbe hajló borostyán szín. Virágos, zöldfüves, komlós illat. Kissé édeskés, zöldfüves, virágos ízvilág. Utóíze a korty folytatása. Testes sör.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A pretty decent English IPA with a reasonable hoppy nose, nice body and typical bitter finish. Standard fare I guess, but St. Peter’s usually make a decent fist of things so surprised this only scores an average of 3.0.

Butelka 500 ml. Ciemnobursztynowe. Piana biala mala szybko zanikajaca. Aromat nikly trawiasto-ziemisty. Malo chmielow malo typowo cytrynowego orzezwiajacego charakteru. Dosc wodniste o orzechowo goryczkowym finiszu. Jak dla mnie niezbyt udana ipa.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Ambrata chiara/dorata carica, schiuma e carbonazione basse.
Aroma delicato, erbaceo, floreale, cereali, da luppoli classici e maltato.
Sapore dolce di malto con finale amaro lungo, pungente. Una buona pale ale inglese, dissetante.
