Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available brewery conditioned and cold filtered in 500ml bottles.
This fine beer is a blend of a mature old ale with a younger light beer - just as a true Porter should be. The marriage produces an extremely characterful brew which is dark in colour and complex in taste.

molasses and brown sugar on the nose - light to no head. Seems to have an off-alcohol taste that lingers, but there’s not much else going on here.

Brownish black pour topped by a small and short lived beige head. Aroma is molasses, vanilla toffe/choclate and inviting. Mouth feel is heavily sweet all the way through to an averagely lasting finish and a hint of acidity at the beginning. Medium bodied and a creamy, syrupy texture. Sparkling. Not one of St.Peter’s finest, but definitely drinkable.

Pours very dark with a light brown head. Thick lacing light carbonation. moderate hops, coffee and a little malt come forth in the scent and taste. Not very impressed with this one.

16.9 oz bottle-Pours a dark brown with a decent off white head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, and roasted malt. Taste of the same with some bitterness coming through. This medium bodied brew is a pretty decent porter.
