Tasted like a porter that had been watered down with a lesser ale..... kinda like a black-and-tan gone wrong. With that being said, good roasted notes, a little chocolate and coffee, but all where just too faint. If this were a bit stronger and more flavorful, it would have been wonderful. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Pours a thin brown color with a medium tan head. Smells of yeast and sweet chocolate malt. Flavor is light on the palate with a roasted malt presence in the backend giving some bitterness. Seems like a middle of the road brewpub porter. ratman197 (3182), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Great roasty smell that is matched in the flavor. Has that kinda oily, porter feel to it. Flavor intensifies as you drink. Finished just as nice as it started.
