Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available brewery conditioned and cold filtered in 500ml bottles.
This fine beer is a blend of a mature old ale with a younger light beer - just as a true Porter should be. The marriage produces an extremely characterful brew which is dark in colour and complex in taste.

[bottle like in the picture] Dark, brownish red with little dots of fizz and a thin ring. Very chocolatey toast with a subtle hint of malt aroma accentuated by british hops. Flavour gentle toasty, roasty malt accentuated by a balanced, chocolatey sweetness and malt bitterness throughout. A bit of that sour/young flavour. Medium body with low carbonation and a lasting choclatey malt bitterness.

Flask bottle. A very fine presentation, refreshing with a three dimensional character.Tan cap over deep clear brown body. Medium intense hops balance well with roasty malt. Well worth a try and the first St. Peter’s I would buy again. It is what it should be I think.

Aroma is roasted, moderately malty, and lightly hoppy. Head is dense and creamy, mostly lasting and produces good lacing. The flavour is well balanced: medium roast with some sweetness. It actually tastes like a blend of two beers. The finish smooth, soft carbonation and medium to full bodied.

Bouteille-D’un brun très foncé, très gaziéfié, odeur malté de noix, un peu d’amertume, goût sec, de malte, de craie. Moyen--Bottle-Dark brown, very gazified, nut and malt odors, a bit sour, dry in the mouth, taste like chalk and malt. Average.

500 ml bottle. Deep brown colour, crystal clear with a thin tan head and sticky lace. Sweet nutty malt, a bit dusty along with some sweet milk chocolate. Flavour is similar, sweet nutty malts, light chocolate and a bit of herbal flavour. Moderate bitterness. Very easy to drink. Quality brew.

this was as they say in ol’ Italy - itwas a no good!! poor example of a porter. no richness - no complexity. just blah and bland, aroma is nice but full of empty promises

really freaking cool bottle. Really nice dark porter. Dark heavy complex flavors. A little chalky but that didn’t deter that much.
