Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to light heavy toffee. A red brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted bread and so is the flavor combined with notes of malt. A fine beer, but nothing special.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and breadish. Mild acidic and vague fruity note. Roasted malty and light acidic. Lingering roasted malty finish. A bit on the simple side.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pitch black with a reddish hue. Handsome, creamy head that sticks to my glass. Distinct notes of burned malts, coffee and bitter chocolate - all the right characteristics for a good porter. Dry, fairly light-bodied and very drinkable. An aromatic and pleasant porter. 181201

Bottled. Very dark ruby red colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits (dark fruits), plum, a bit amoke and roast. Also coffee is there. Flavour is roasted malts and plum. Very smoked/roasted aftertaste. A good porter, though it is quite watery.

Bottled. Dark brown with beige head. Roasty plum aroma. Sweet and fruity. Rounded mouthfeel, but with simple malt character. Salty coffee finish.

Roasted aroma with notes of chocolate and liquorice.
Roasted flavour with notes of liquorice and coffee.
Roasted and hoppy finish.

Cask @ Jerusalem Tavern, London. Darkbrown almost black colour. Longlasting creamy tan head. Roasted malty aroma hints of honey. Also some spicy hints. Roasted malty slightly sour flavor. Malty finish with some bitterness.

Dark, brown color. Strong aroma: malt, roasted malt, liquorice, phenol, caramel. Dry mothfeel, dominated by the roasted malt, with some caramel and liquorice. Roasted malt in the final, with a light sweetness.

Bottle, 5.1%. The aroma starts off dusty and creamy, but also has some rough roasted barley and a little sourness. Seemingly clear dark brown colour. Big stable light brown head. The flavour is mild and creamy at first, gets a little sour hint to give it some edge. Creamy mouthfeel. Perhaps a little lactic in the finish. Very harmonious.
