Deep dark, ruby red with a very thin head and trace lacing. Very flat, very sweet and malty. Zero carbonation. Syrupy. Slightly astringent flavor - not necessarily bad but just enough to remind you of the alcohol. A decent porter offering overall, though I don’t know that I’d go out of my way to find it again. Deep, clear copper color and a nice, medium, beige head. Taste is toasty, some caramel but a bit skunked. Medium MF, not intrussive. Nice pint, not great, but achieves.
