This fine beer is a blend of a mature old ale with a younger light beer - just as a true Porter should be. The marriage produces an extremely characterful brew which is dark in colour and complex in taste.

I like this but not as much as the stout. Dark dark brown, with a light tan head. coffee on the nose and tongue. A tad thin in the mouth but certainly a pretty good brew.

Bottle 50cl. Deep dark ruby brown, good frothy light tan head, diminishing slowly, good lacing; roasted malt aroma, coffee, cocoa, caramel; taste medium sweet and bitter, caramel, chocolate; light to medium body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation; kinda thin mild bittersweet aftertaste, chocolate notes; a ’light’ porter, lacks body but despite that pleasant to drink, kinda session porter.

Pours cola brown with a thin beige head. Aroma of roasted coffee and cocoa with a little sweetness. Taste is slightly bitter with notes of chocolate with a touch of dark fruitiness. Nice, classic, easy to drink beer. Nothing crazy.

Bottle 500 ml, Appearance: Mahogany brow body, with a tallthick beige head, with very good retention. Head leaves light lacing on the glass. Aroma; burned caramel, light honey notes, dark fruit ( berries) Taste: Sweetish, caramel, honey, molases, berries and some hops tone and citrus acidity balancing the sweetness out, Roasted malt tones are quite in the back. mild bitter finish. Thin body, low carbonation, quite dry palate. Odd Porter which is more Ale-ish as most Porters. Still a good interesting beer. Allthough it could have a bit more body.
