Bottle. Fresh aroma of hops. Orange copper appearance. Little bit of fruit and hops but rather hard to get anything from it. Crisp ale. Another beer with the organic label, but surly not. Pretty poor really.

500 ml bottle. Nothing to appeal very much to me in this one at all - extremely low carbonation, watery constitution, and rewarding on neither the nose nor the palate.

I think this is a pretty good beer. It has a very pronounced hop aroma and flavor, a little bit earthy or flinty. This beer is a very good balance of maltiness and hop flavor and aroma. The aroma and flavor are a little musky/funky. This is a session ale that might even be able to stand up to a strong French cheese. Give it a try.

500 mL bottle labeled as English Ale poured into shaker- poured murky orange copper, low carbonation, bubbles around the glass for a head. Aroma of a brisk sour malt and hops. His the mouth with a small thin body, malt has a sour quality to it (musky wheat?), appealing bitterness at the finish- has a dry quality to it after a few seconds.

500ml flask ENGLISH ALE label - lcbo. Copper color with medium coarse head. Aroma of hops citrus and a bit of tin. Taste immediate tinny quality, but lots of good bitter hops Very dry finish, raspy. Med-light body with some tart ale-fruits and very little malt sweetness. Distinctive and good.

Pours a hazy copper/orange color with a slight white head. Flavor is a little bitter with hops but it also has the slight earthy note to it that I fond common in most organic brews. 1 pt. 0.9 oz. bottle.

Kind of a golden orange pour. Kind of citrus/floral in the nose. Medium body, not sticky, pretty crisp. Lightly malty, slight citrus and nut. Very drinkable. What I imagine a standard English ale should taste like.
