Bottle @ home. Hazy orange colour, smell of flowers, hops, malts. Taste is malty, a bit sweet, hoppy and flowery. Nice bitter finish. Quite nice mouthfeel, medium bodied.

Hazy, golden-orange pour with a 3/4" thick head that remains for the duration. Semi-sweet malty aroma with a European skunk quality (probably due to the greenish/clear glass bottle). Medium to light in body, refreshing finish and easily drinkable. A moderately bitter aftertaste is a nice addition. Flavor is lightly malty with hints of bread and caramel and a touch nutty. Balanced by some grassy hops, which just enough bitterness. Nothing really stands out flavor wise. A common and basic ale, nice beer to open the evening with.

Bottle labeled English Ale. This golden ale poured with a decent white head and a grassy aroma. The flavor is also grassy and medicinal with the hops dominating. I didn’t enjoy this one much.

Great English ale. I like that it’s not too offensive and very refreshing. Also, very cool bottle. Copper color with a small head. Nice organic, clean flavor.

...bottle from Purvis Cellars discount bin. Decent copper color with small white head. Nice malty flavor, with medium mouthfeel. No nasty aftertaste, and interesting hop notes. Tastes very eartly and organic, without any cloying, decent beer, was a nice engish ale.

A little dry and medicinal for me. Didn’t like it much. Where the hell is Bungay? Tee hee hee. Not bad tho.
