blutt59 (2045), Dallas, Texas, USA Jun 21, 2008 bottle, golden color, clean crisp taste of green apple and hops, bright clean finish but a little thin puboflyons (590), New Hampshire, USA Jun 20, 2008 From their 1 pt. 0.9 fl.oz antique green colored bottle coded L7 342. Pours a hazy, copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is vaguely malted. Thew flavor is more so but also very crisp and clean. Most of St. Peter’s brews are excellent and this is no exception. greenmanalishi (296), Leicestershire, England Jun 20, 2008 Updated: Jul 5, 2008Bottle. congratulations to this ale for actually standing out and having a flavour. far too many watered down non-entities in the ’ales’ section of most supermarkets. Pours yellow-gold with a small head. herbal aroma, grassy/hay quality to the taste that is quite distinctive. good mouthfeel with crisp carbonation. a refreshing ale that understates itself on the bottle but delivers a unique flavour. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Jun 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden amber with a small head. Aroma is pretty fresh, herbal hops with a nice malty balance. This beer is really drinkable, something I rarely find in English Ales. Nice grassy hoppiness, decent carbonation in the mouthfeel and a nice flavor of tree bark. This would be amazing from a cask. ericandersnavy (1039), crossroads, Texas, USA Jun 14, 2008 ok let me start off by saying this beer must of been old and skunky. my brother was pouring this one and i smelled the all to familiar smell of a po-cat. it pours a hazy yellow with a white head. i will probably have to buy this one again to give it the shot it deserves Cybercat (778), Georgia, USA Jun 11, 2008 Pours into the glass a clear, pretty golden amber with a fairly thick and fluffy but not persistent head. Aroma is crisp and malty, rather like a lager instead of an ale. Flavor is malty, not complex, a bit on the thin side. Texture is smooth and has a little bit of a bite. Not exciting, but palatable. Collint (452), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Jun 8, 2008 Bottle at Soul Infusion, clear golden beer with little head. Aroma was hoppy and light. light Malt was present. decent beer could not taste alcohol thechandler (268), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA Jun 1, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy golden blonde. Aroma is light, hint of corn scent but its not bad. Flavor is a little bit hoppier than I expected. Mostly floral flavors, but not like a pale ale. Less bitter than you’d expect with the hop flavor that this has, which isnt excessively so, but definitely prominent. Not bad, not amazing.
