BeerVirgin72 (778), Pataskala, Ohio, USA Mar 19, 2008 Poured from bottle, pale golden color. Huge white head that lasted a while. Smell was kind of bland, slight malts. Taste was bland as well. Nothing stood out at all for me on this one. Very watered down malts. Definitely drinkable with the meal we had, but rather boring, really... matt7215 (942), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Mar 16, 2008 Updated: Dec 22, 2008500 ml bottle shared with RyanMac13. his bottle. bland aromas with slight hop nose but thats after digging deep to extract anything for aroma. mild hops plays off light maltiness, a session brew for sure. id but this again. greedycheater (80), Oklahoma, USA Mar 11, 2008 Flowery, skunky nose. Pale and clear pour. Tastes like an old, stale Heinikin. Light to medium bodied. OK but ... raiderfost (158), virginia beach, Virginia, USA Mar 9, 2008 Not bad . Very good example of its style. Very drinkable.Love the bottle. Have had a few times. nramsburg (200), New York, New York, USA Mar 7, 2008 Pours to a deep golden hue. Very yeasty and almost salty aroma, that remains slightly salty on the palate. Finishes with a good bit of hops. Pretty good overall. WillieV (191), Maryland, USA Mar 6, 2008 Bottle: A very nice light brown pour with a minimal off white head. Scent of something sour. IE: cream. Light hop taste that is very easy to drink. Little aftertaste. Lacks more of a punch for an English ale. thill25 (216), Orlando, Florida, USA Feb 17, 2008 500 ml bottle...pour a amber honey color w/ a thin, mostly dissipating head. Aroma of flowers, a tiny bit of honey, and some caramel. Initial flavor was a bit metallic, but that quickly faded and I was able to detect some apple, and bitter hops. Mouthfeel is a bit creamy with a very dry and slightly bitter finish. Not bad... BückDich (4793), McCall, Idaho, USA Feb 11, 2008 Bottle: Pale gold color, light fizzy head and lacing. Nose of spicy earthy hops that blends with the malt to form a sour cream or banana ice cream note. The flavor is a bit dry with a noticeable bitter tail, but is fairly balanced for the long haul with drinkability. The finish is light and zesty. Jolly good.
