bottled. dullish golden colour, whiff of salted caramel, generically grainy, no real bitterness, pretty boring stuff

Pours a hazy medium golden color. Aroma of hops and yeast. A foamy head forms, but is gone quickly. Highly carbonated. Flavor reminds me of Heineken, but a little better. Some bitter aftertaste. Good, but I would probably never buy this again.

I like skunky beer, but this one takes the cake, even more so than Heineken. It’s a hazy off-orange hay color. It has little foam at all on the pour, but exhibits good carbonation. The taste is like sour malt.

Pours beautiful deep golden, medium head diminishing to a ring of foam and a thin film. Aroma of classic English hops, hint of malt. Taste is muted caramel, more English hops. Very smooth biterness, perfect balance. Very satisfying experience.

Jan. 12, 2007; bottle. Pleasantly malty for a blond ale. Very lager-ish, and not bad at all for what it is.

A Sim rate (bottle at Jerusalem Tavern): Sweet, but so incredibly subtle in the aroma. Malty. Unoffensive, but nothing special. Golden, slightly hazy appearance with little head or lace. Tartly hoppy. Malt and meal.

Clear, golden color. Nose of hops. Flavor is completely defined by the hops, but it is a tame, pleasant bitterness. Not remarkable.

Hazy golden pour with not much head. Strong hoppy scent. Taste is nice at first but then quickly overcome by a bitter hoppyness. It’s not bad the first few mouth fulls but it just keeps growing making the beer less pleasant the more you drink. There is some flowery taste near the finish that is a bit off setting as well. Not a bad beer at all, but there are some unbalencing flavours that put me off on buying this one again.
