JaPe (69), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 18, 2007 God this beer is so bitter I can’t drink it. I feel bad because for a few seconds it tastes delicious, but all the other flavors are immediately washed away by the bitterness. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA Nov 16, 2007 Bottle, pours a fairly clear golden color with a white fluffy head that laces fairly well. Citrus aroma, slight spice, Farily carbonated, nice sturdy biscuit malts, with some lighter straw flavors. Pretty decent brew for a blonde. I enjoyed it. Mike4686 (120), Bayonne, New Jersey, USA Nov 10, 2007 pours a cloudy dark golden color with little head that does away quickly, smells like sweet grass, smell matches the taste pretty well, some hops, not really all that good. beervis (223), People’s Republic of Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, England Nov 7, 2007 Light amber, small white head dimishing to sud ring with some lacing. Aroma sweet and citrussy, flavours dry, mix of creamy malt and sharp hoppy bitterness. crisp on palate, sweet and sour finish. not bad. RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 5, 2007 Had this beer on 8/7/2002. Aroma is slightly sweet with a citrus scent. Color is a pale gold with light carbonation and a very light head. Taste is light and bitter. Starting with a light / medium body it goes down giving you a crisp feel. Finish is a rich malt flavor backed by a hearty bitterness. mcox90 (618), Wilton, USA Nov 4, 2007 500 ml Bottle. Pours a deep golden color with a hint of red. Small white head with minimal lacing. Medium mouthfeel. Has a nice floral/citrus taste to it. Hops are really low key. Some malt flavor. Easy drinking, enjoyable brew. ubamartian (155), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA Nov 1, 2007 500ml Bottle. Pours a brandy and orange juice colored brown. With an almost non-existent off white head that disappears almost imeediately. No lacing at all. The aroma is an overpowering barley and light orange zest hop scent. First sip favors the malts and follows with the zesty hops. The taste is pure, with the flavors intertwining but independant. The feeling is a bit on the medium or heavy side for an ale, but not too much to distract. It finishes with a sharp dry hoppy flavor that lingers. Not something I will be stocking. I have tried this twice now, and the second time was definately better. Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Nov 1, 2007 An ok ale. golden color with small white head. Citrus/floral aroma. Taste of sweet malt and citrus hops.
