| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2006 Bottle. Poued a clear orange gold with a thin off-white head. Minimal lacing. A nice grassy hoppy aroma, with some floral characters. Just a little bitter with some citrusy and floral notes in the flavor. Nice bitter finish on this smooth medium bodied beer. A pleasant beer to drink. SledgeJr (2960), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Aroma is slightly skunked with a trace of hops. Big bubbles in head, like the surface of the moon. Taste is ok, but not enjoyable. Not a pleasant beer-drinking experience. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 21, 2006 Vibrant orange pour. Lovely soft, rounded malty hop balance. A hint of honey and lemon in the nose. Finely carbonated, silky mouthfeel. Lingers in the nostrils with some moreish breadiness. A tangy hop finish that puts me in mind of a classic English ale (Hook Norton, Timothy Taylor?). After the honey porter, a very pleasant surprise indeed. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Nov 10, 2006 Nice bottle, but looks aren’t eveything!Nice golden colour, head is nowt but a thin isle of small bubbles floating in the middle of my glass, and a few stragglers clinging to side.Aroma is good tho! Quite fruity, with a slight maltiness. The palate lacks balance, and has an unpleasant harsh edge which increases after you’ve swallowed and the finish kicks in.
