oh6gdx (8802), Vasa, Finland Aug 30, 2006 Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is bitter hops mainly. Flavour is sweet hoppy and a bit malty. Easy to drink, but the aftertaste is quite short, and hoppy only. Quite watery to the palate. TBone (6678), Pori, Finland Aug 29, 2006 <!-- i -->Bottled<!-- /i --> (BB 07/2006).<!-- br -->
A bit hazy golden color, not much head. Woody, maybe a bit yeasty nose. Malty, slightly harsh, wheaty and woody flavor. Hoppy flavor in the aftertaste. gnoff (3560), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 25, 2006 (Bottle at Haket in Gothenburg) Shady golden to orange color, big white head. Fresh, a bit too sweet, scent. Taste is hoppy and bitter, not the sweet cheap corn as in the smell. Normal mouth feel, medium high bitterness. JHunter (242), British Columbia, Canada Aug 21, 2006 Updated: Dec 10, 2006a nice bronze color with a perfect creamy fluffy head. a sorta stong hoppy smell and ful bitter after taste Glouglouburp (2782), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Aug 18, 2006 Clear golden body with a medium white head that quickly becomes a thin layer. Aroma is soft but pleasant with bready malts and dry leaves. Taste as some earthy orange zest when it warms up. Cereals, dry hops leaves and a bit floury. Very soft but well balanced and pleasant. Medium body and medium carbonation. A nice golden ale drinkable in large quantity but not a tasty beer by any mean. What did you expect? Saint-Peter is not into heavy tasty beers to get drunk on, the man’s a professional, he’s got a job to do, some important gates to look after. GreatLibations (1440), Last Supper, Arizona, USA Aug 5, 2006 Pours beautfiul golden honey w/ a shallow creamy froth. Aroma is rustic malted citrus. Medium full nectar w/ creamy residuals. Flavors are creamy and rustic w/ leather, aged citrus, and tobacco. The finish is long w/ perfect bittering. I could drink a few of these. LordBeamish (144), Boozetown, Ontario, Canada Aug 3, 2006 500 ml bottle: Golen in colour with a minimal white head. The flavours in this beer definately intensify as the beer warms. There is definately a fruity flavour to this beer, possibly apricot but I’m not sure. Definite hints of caramel as well. Finishes bitter but not too bitter. Don’t drink this one too cold. Excellent brew. Jiggaman21k (9), Rhode Island, USA does not count Aug 2, 2006 "English Ale" , not organic ale written on the label. small head with slight citrusy aroma. light amber color and quite bitter. Good beer.
