| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 19, 2006 Hazy almost cloudy gold, with no more head than a glass of apple juice. In fact, it looks like apple juice. Sweet malt and British hops predominate in the taste, making me think of what Bass Ale must have been like some time ago. Great looking unusual glass bottle, and much better than their Cream Stout. I did like the hop intensity. kimcgolf (828), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | May 17, 2006 Pours to a golfden orange, with thin off-white head, and good lacing. Aroma of citrus fruit, mostly oranges, and clove. I actually enjoyed the flavor initially upon tasting. Unfortunatly, a very watery, metallic finish kicks in almost immediately, to leave a sour aftertaste. This was true throughout the entire bottle.
The beer I drank was called English Ale, instead of the new "Organic Ale", so I may have had an old bottle. Nontheless, not impressed. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 16, 2006 If not for that stupid green bottle, this would be a decent beer. Unfortunately, a hint of skunk creeped its way into the floral/vegetably smells. Also, far too mild and watery for my tastes. An unusually strong citrus presence combined with a faint butteriness makes this interesting, but otherwise, I wouldn’t revisit this beer anytime soon. gputty (456), Virgina Beach, Virginia, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | May 16, 2006 Possibly had a bad bottle of this. When the top was popped a huge skunked aroma filled the air. Poured a light orange with no head. Nose was bitter skunked hops. Flavor was typical lager with some adjuncts. Probably should try another. Trev (859), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 15, 2006 Pours a clear amber with no head.
Aroma was a bit weak, fruity un-ripe peach hoppiness, orange pekoe tea and a yeasty mustiness.
Flavour was earthy and dry bitter with a lingering orange peel pithy flavour.
While the flavour is assertive, I didn’t find it particularly pleasing. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 15, 2006 Bottle. Pours a deep golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, Sweet malts, hops, and breadines. Flavor is sweet malts, smooth, citrus, with a hoppy bitter finish. Decent body, avaerage brew. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 14, 2006 Bottle at Beer on the Pier, Chicago. Pretty sure this was listed as "St. Peters English Ale. Dry euro aroma; not overly promising. Slightly hazy gold with a large bubble head. Dry...way too dry, and thin. Crit (2401), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

First bottle I had was called English Ale, this is Organic. Definitely not the same beer but rating now reflects this beer, not the former. This is very thin, flat, bland and visually unappealing with no head or bead. Total crap.
