burpfrank (293), carpinteria, California, USA Apr 16, 2006 The first thing I noticed was the extra amount of carbon bubbles, almost kind of champagney.Like the other reviews ,I found not much of a head to the beer. This beer has a nice pleasant taste, and is very drinkable.the brewer tauts it as being organically grown,so I guess I can drink more and not be afraid of poisoning my system!!Too bad that alcohol is a poison, but it’s organic....Anyway,I only bought 1 bottle and wanted a second after tasting it! IrishBoy (2685), Bakersfield, California, USA Apr 13, 2006 Lightly hazy light amber with a tiny white head. Fruity malt/hop aromaFlavor with malt touches and a nice butterness from the hops bierkoning (5987), La Tropica, Netherlands Apr 6, 2006 Orange color, no head. Light hoppy, flowery aroma with hints of apple and cardboard. Hopbitter flavor with touches of biscuit, blackcurrant. Light earthy character. Nutty bitter aftertaste. Nothing special. rkyus8 (4), USA does not count Mar 28, 2006 Bittersweet orangy-gold color, very little head. Pleasant tasting ale, a few unique/organic hops with a floral tinge. Very earthy taste, a lot like Bell’s "two hearted ale". Definately a nice summer beer. DuffMan (2719), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Mar 27, 2006 Hazy orange amber, thin head. Aromas are chiefly hard-to-define earthy vegetal elements and butterscotch. Nice malty palate, earthy and slightly fruity hops, bitter finish. I though this was very good despite the harsh opinions of St. Peters brewery expressed by some raters. beerbill (1918), Laurel, New York, USA Mar 22, 2006 Bottle. Pours an orange/gold with a very thin head. Pleasant yeasty aroma with some hops fruitiness. Flavor was aweful - a cross between wet cardboard and stale cigarettes. Yuck. I ended up pouring most of the glass down the sink. I will not be trying this one again. Strykzone (1458), Wood River, Illinois, USA Mar 18, 2006 Aroma is very sour grapefruit and not much else. Its appearance is honey colored and only a little head appears with a bit of lacing after that. Flavor is of bitter hops with plenty of sour citrus. As the beer warms that smooths out some. There is a medicine taste that is not what one wants in a beer. The finish is more bitter. OlJuntan64 (1267), Perth, Australia Mar 14, 2006 Medium auburn amber clear with a medium large fine bubbled cream head that generates some systematic lace. Sweet aromatic fruity and floral hoppy aroma becoming a tad staler as it warms. Palate is low carb soft medium light body. Light medium malty sweet start balanced nicely with bitter floral hops. Medium strong dry woody hoppy long lasting finish.
