Aroma has some flowery hops, but not terribly strong. Flavor is initially mild, but comes on strong once the hop bitterness kicks in. Initially has a somewhat malty sweetness that gets quickly overpowered by the bitternes. The finish is quite btter and lingers leaparsons (4700), Leicester, Leicestershire, England

Nothing special. rkyus8 (4), USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2006 Bittersweet orangy-gold color, very little head. Pleasant tasting ale, a few unique/organic hops with a floral tinge. Very earthy taste, a lot like Bell’s "two hearted ale". Definately a nice summer beer. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 27, 2006 Hazy orange amber, thin head. Aromas are chiefly hard-to-define earthy vegetal elements and butterscotch. Nice malty palate, earthy and slightly fruity hops, bitter finish. I though this was very good despite the harsh opinions of St. Peters brewery expressed by some raters. beerbill (1940), Laurel, New York, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 22, 2006 Bottle. Pours an orange/gold with a very thin head. Pleasant yeasty aroma with some hops fruitiness. Flavor was aweful - a cross between wet cardboard and stale cigarettes. Yuck. I ended up pouring most of the glass down the sink. I will not be trying this one again.
