Spicy herbal hops, fruit skin ester aromas. Rich, yet subdued malt flavors, grassy and floral hop characteristics. Finish is slightly fruity, enhanced by residual hop vegetal tones. Mouthfeel is light medium, very smooth. DrunkenWeasel (218), Portland, Oregon, USA

The pale green glass scared me, and I watched this on the shelves for weeks before I worked up the nerve to buy one. No surprises here, skunky dunky! A slight aroma of that classic caramelly british malt underneath. Fortunately, the mercaptans were weak on the palate, but still provided an astringency of sorts. Hints of the earthy caramel malts, and even less of a spicy hop. Nice looking though, an orangey amber with a good tight head. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 9, 2006 Very light copper coloured body with a poor head. Poor head retention and some faint wisps of lacing. Thin body, citrus in both the aroma and taste with some caramel filling it out, but not by much, a little bit herbal and a bit too watery. Easy enough to drink but no real characters in this beer to make it very memorable. JK (2949), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 7, 2006 Light hops in the aroma. A light brown, lightly carbonated beer. Lots of pepper in the light flavor. Not much there. Likerighteous (120), Pflugerville, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 7, 2006 Cool bottle = extra points! Not as hoppy as I like my ales, but then it’s an English, OK fine. Medium head pushed the malts all up in my brain, and finished kinda’ nutty. "Organic " I could care less about ( I mean it’s only the hops that are organic here) and this did not weigh in when I made the choice. Pleasant brew that I’ll buy again. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

Aromas of mild hops, a touch of malt. Smells almost like elmer’s glue. Flavor is mild malt with citrus like hops. Light body, kind of watery. Short dry finish with a metallic aftertaste.
