3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2004 Hazy, deep yellow ale with a large, fluffy, off-white head. Good retention. Decent lacing.
I really dig the flask-shaped bottle. It's green, though.
The nose is of citrus fruit, pepper and butterscotch.
Well-balanced flavor. Lightly malty and lightly bitter. Reminds me of an agressively- hopped Kolsch.
Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Lengthy, bone-dry finish.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2007 Bottle (new non-flask-shaped ones). Head is small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is light amber. Aroma is lightly hoppy (flowers, apricot), lightly malty (cookie, toasted bread), with light notes of metal and diacetyl. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Not too bad, but not that good either.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A STRICKING GOLD COLOR WITH A THIN WHITE HEAD THAT QUICKLY DISPATES. A PLEASANT AROMA AND A PLESANT TASTE. NOT MUCH EXCITMENT IN THIS BREW.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUN 14, 2003 This is only my second blonde ale to rate so I am not completely sure how a Blonde Ale should taste and smell, etc. This particular Blonde Ale poured a small white head of fine-small bubbles that quickly dissipated. There was no lacing on the sides of my glass. The body was gold and there was carbonation observed. I noticed a lingering bitterness with this Blonde Ale.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This brew pours a samll head of fine to medium sized bubbles that leaves an excellent lacing with a light amber body. It has a very mild malt hop aroma with a very nice palate. It starts off slightly fizzy then mellows. The flavor is very nice too. The flavor is a very mellow smooth hop flavor with mild spices. There is only a slight afterbite in the finish. THis is a very nice pub ale to sit around and pass the bull over in the pub.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear amber color, quickly dissipating head. Roasted malt and caramel aroma. Not much carbonation, roastiness mixed with a bit of bitterness but it falls quickly on a buttery note.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Medium amber colour, mostly diminishing frothy off-white head. Floral aroma, with slight hints of pine and eucalyptus. Maybe a bit skunked. Bready malt flavours, finishing with a floral bitterness. Strangely, almost has a pilsener-like character. Medium bodied, straightforward palate.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
In flask bottle as St Peter's English Ale. Bit of earthy undertones in the aroma - sweet/rubbery aroma common to most American macros. Golden amber clear with no head. Little carb - almost flat and medium watery body. Clean, crisp taste. Light sweet malts and barley taste. Hops impart a crisp texture and light bitterness. Mild finish and light bitter after. OK ale - nice bottle and touted as organic, but overall I wouldn't have again.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden cider colored, medium lasting head. Light malty apple-ish aroma; mild, well-balanced, earthy, slightly ruity flavor; finish gets drier and slightly bitter. Pretty decent, after this and the Cream Stout I'm anxious to try more. Awesome bottles.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This was kind of a disapointment, after the Best Bitter. Not that it is a bad beer, but nothing to distinguish it. Light bodied, crisper finish, and a fruity aroma.
