Light malty apple-ish aroma; mild, well-balanced, earthy, slightly ruity flavor; finish gets drier and slightly bitter. Pretty decent, after this and the Cream Stout I'm anxious to try more. Awesome bottles. bhensonb (4401), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 20, 2007 Refreshing light aroma of lemon hop. Hazy golden amber color with a minimal white head. Starts with a honey tinge, quickly followed by malt, and then very definite citrus hop. Malt and hop play back and forth, and after awhile a slight sour note seems to rise. Not bad, just different. Overall the finish seems to be a very nice bitter. rauchbier (3004), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England

Low caramel sweetness in the nose, raw barley grain and gentle caramel sweetness in the mouth with a slightly chalky roasted note and a touch of chocolate, good hop bitter finish with some sweet chocolate and a low chalky toasted note.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 12, 2002 The bottle is cool, it looks like a bottle of tonic bought at a medicine show. But, its green, and my beer already had a skunky aroma, although not too bad, along with a mild caramel maltiness. Tasted fresh, had a nice low-carb smooth mouthfeel and was light and easy to drink. Nice hop/malt balance w. a bitter finish that was light and elegant. This is an organic ale, the best of the few I’ve had. I peeled off the label to reveal another, apparently the non-import label, which says St. Peter’s Organic Ale. hopscotch (5555), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

I really dig the flask-shaped bottle. It's green, though.
The nose is of citrus fruit, pepper and butterscotch.
Well-balanced flavor. Lightly malty and lightly bitter. Reminds me of an agressively- hopped Kolsch.
Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Lengthy, bone-dry finish. Braudog (3789), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 13, 2004 Poured from the unique bottle like a homebrew --- big airy head with little carbonation. Metallic yellow-orange hue. Virtually no aroma, just lightly creamy citrus. The beer is very smooth and light on the tongue with a nice tart citric edge without too much. Nice light ale. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

A deliciously sweet taste, that slightly resembles mead to me. A very light golden color with a nice sized head to match. Flavors are quite soothing and warming, with honey, nuts and perhaps some caramel in there to compliment the malty taste. This could be very good for sessions. Spicy herbal hops, fruit skin ester aromas. Rich, yet subdued malt flavors, grassy and floral hop characteristics. Finish is slightly fruity, enhanced by residual hop vegetal tones. Mouthfeel is light medium, very smooth.
