Bottle 500ml from Dan Murphy’s. Nice and malty bitter. Aromas of caramel, cola, and hints of chocolate. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness. Palate is creamy, with a medium body. Amber, with a frothy head.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 11.06.2012
Aroma has some sweet, resin-like hops and peppery spices. Also hints of vanilla. Flavour is a bit weird with peppery spices, some grapefruit-like hops and sweetish caramel malt. Also hints of vanilla and berries. Spicy finish. Not your typical bitter, but not bad either.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2012 Bottled 50cl. Not the best from this brewery. Sweet, caramel, honeyish, malt accented. Average.

0.5l bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. Deep almost murky-brown body with a big bubbly medium-sized beige head. Lovely aroma! Did not expect that aroma at all. It’s dark fruity, lovely sweet, lots of caramel, malts and chocolate. Soft - almost flat carbonation levels with a somewhat thin and slick mouthfeel. Malty flavors in this one, it’s a light burned tone here, some dark fruits and good amounts of caramel. It’s really well balanced and quite tasty, but the texture annoys a bit. Still, a nice little surprise from The St.Peters

500ml bottle. Dark red with not too long lasting white head. Fruity aroma with underlying caramel malt.Floral taste, minimal sweetness. Dry and slightly soapy finish. Fresh and tasty.

This ale poured a nice darker red colour with a soapy head that didn’t last vewry long at all. To the nose there are scents of hops, ripe fruit, grapefruit citrus, dough and plastic? First sip was very hoppy with flavours of light caramel and malt. Slightly watery mouthfeel. One of the better St Peters i’ve had.

Pours a dark ruby red with a thin off white top. Aroma is malt, special malt and a spicy hop. Taste has a nice mouthfeel, great malt profile a little spice with a low hop bitterness. Great beer.
