Rødbrun i fargen, lavt skum. Litt anonym aroma av malt. Smaken er mer interessant, malt og lett bitter. Noe karamell i bakgrunnen. Ganske så lettdrikkelig. Medium konsistens og en behagelig småbitter ettersmak.

Earthy hops, some hazelnut, sweet malt with hints of brown sugar and caramel, smooth palate. Pretty good bitter.

500ml bottle, gift. Love the oval bottle. Big bubbly light tan head, good lacing. Body is clear deep ruby. Nose is apple, a little grass. Flavour is caramel, malty, a little brown sugar on the finish. There's some light berry flavour in there as well. Medium carbonation. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Bottle at home 10.02.14. I love this stuff - so a slightly biased review. Pours dark copper red with a slightly yeasty medium head. Slightly coffee and spicey aroma mixed with maltiness. Medium to high carbonation is my only reservation about this beer - I think it’s slightly high but this may not be the case on cask. Wonderful rich and malty taste with a deeply set hop which drives into the finish. Body and palate are very well balanced, leaving a slightly nutty taste if you haven’t had another mouthful already by then.

Kort noe bitter ettersmak, medium bitter.

Nice looking Ruby ale, true to style, light on the palate and not cloying. Another good offering from this consistently good brewery.

Caramel, dried fruits and nuts in the aroma. Ruby with a beige head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Light body with a soft carbonation. Bitter finish. Overall this is a good ale, but not to exciting.

Bottle. Deep Ruby Red in colour; fantastic colour against the light. Malty; toasted/roasted malts, caramel & toffee, hints of chocolate and nuts. Fruity; berry fruits. Hoppy; earthy, spicy peppery hops. Good malt/fruit/hop balance. Sweet malty fruity throughout with balancing hop bitterness. Dry bitter finish. Very tasty and full flavoured for low ABV. Very drinkable. Nice Beer!
