A rich, red ale with subtle malt undertones and a distinctive spicy hop aroma from Styrian Goldings. Brewed with skill and patience in one of Britain’s finest small breweries.

Brown to red colour with small beige head. Nice creamy foam. Aroma of spice and caramel. Some nice hoppy notes, together with cookiedough, some coffee and more spices. Bitter finish, but doesn’t linger much.

Butelka 0.5L Klarowne, rubinowo-brunatne. Beżowa, niska, zwarta piana, szybko ulega redukcji. Aromat chleba razowego intensywny do tego orzechy, miód i słonecznik. W smaku lekko kwaskowate sporo chleba, karmel, słonecznik i orzechy. Zupełnie jakby się jadło chleb razowy na miodzie ze słonecznikiem i orzechami. Goryczka wyraźnie zaznaczona, krótka, ładnie się wkomponowuje. Piwo średniotreściwe, wysycenie niskie do średniego. Bardzo przyjemne piwo.

Bottled. Deep tawny red colour with a minimal light brown head. Very malty nose with caramel, dried fruit, and yeast. A sweetish, malty start, balanced by a dry, slightly thin finish. Good.

Solid English Bitter - not my preferred style - malty malty malty - well made - not that bitter - very pleasant for a revisit to Brit Bit.

Bottle. A deeper red coloured ale, not much head. It has a pleasant rich sweetness in both in aroma and taste with an underlying sweet fruitiness.

Bottle. Brown/ruby colour, small tan head and a little lacing. Aromas of toasted malt, caramel and dried fruits. Sweetish flavours of malt, caramel and dried fruits which finishes with a nice long bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel with limited carbonation.

Bottled, 0.50l. Clear ruby brown color with medium creamy tan-like head, good lacing and almost flat appearance. Aroma of moderate toasted malt, caramel, grassy hops, flowers and dried fruits. Taste starts with rich and sweet malt, followed by refreshing fruity acidity, while finished nicely roasted and heavy bitter. Medium to full body, creamy texture and average natural carbonation in palate. Great example of tasty combination of golding hops within ales...

Bottle from a christmas box. Pours a dark slightly murky red brown. No head. Taste is fruity and slightly sweet... Slight cola quality to this drink. Very nice, esp given the abv.
