Bottle at home 10.02.14. I love this stuff - so a slightly biased review. Pours dark copper red with a slightly yeasty medium head. Slightly coffee and spicey aroma mixed with maltiness. Medium to high carbonation is my only reservation about this beer - I think it’s slightly high but this may not be the case on cask. Wonderful rich and malty taste with a deeply set hop which drives into the finish. Body and palate are very well balanced, leaving a slightly nutty taste if you haven’t had another mouthful already by then.

Kort noe bitter ettersmak, medium bitter.

Nice looking Ruby ale, true to style, light on the palate and not cloying. Another good offering from this consistently good brewery.

Caramel, dried fruits and nuts in the aroma. Ruby with a beige head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Light body with a soft carbonation. Bitter finish. Overall this is a good ale, but not to exciting.

Bottle. Deep Ruby Red in colour; fantastic colour against the light. Malty; toasted/roasted malts, caramel & toffee, hints of chocolate and nuts. Fruity; berry fruits. Hoppy; earthy, spicy peppery hops. Good malt/fruit/hop balance. Sweet malty fruity throughout with balancing hop bitterness. Dry bitter finish. Very tasty and full flavoured for low ABV. Very drinkable. Nice Beer!

Green bottle b@eurospar. Beige head, lacings and rings, deep dark ruby-brown clear body. Bread and sweet roasted malt to the nose. Roasted malts in the taste. Somewhat dry and low bitterness under. Notes of chocolate and kvass. Faint hint of vanilla. Finishes with the roasted malt, hints of honey, a little dry twist at the final.

Bottle from a christmas box. Pours a dark slightly murky red brown. No head. Taste is fruity and slightly sweet... Slight cola quality to this drink. Very nice, esp given the abv.

Bottled. Deep tawny red colour with a minimal light brown head. Very malty nose with caramel, dried fruit, and yeast. A sweetish, malty start, balanced by a dry, slightly thin finish. Good.
