Grima (2230) - Merzkirchen, RLP, - NOV 12, 2012
The beer is pale yellow in the glass with a flat head. It smells restrained hoppy-bitter and subtly grainy. Starts dominant malty, slightly bitter in the background with a moderate hop aroma. The middle part is grassy hoppy, bitter, again grainy with pale malts and lot of hay in the background. Goes into a very grassy and hoppy finish with lots of hay!

Bottle - Clear golden colour, small, quickly fading white head. Malty nose with some bread, grains and a touch of herbal hops. Taste is rather bitter, some butterscotch, grass, herbal notes. Medium body and carbonation, a bit unpleasent hop bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. Overall its not bad.

Orange gold with small head. Fruity aroma. Sweet taste of malts, with caramel notes contrasting with a bitter hopy touch of fruits and orange.

0,5L bottle, BB 03.03.15. Pours amber with a off-white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is hoppy, grass, hint of butter. Flavor is intense hoppy, grass, malt, harsh nutty bitterness, some fruity notes. Finish is dry nutty bitter. Overall: too harsh for me, but not offending.

allmyvinyl (8809) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 16, 2014
500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden amber, short-lived white head. Not much on the nose, touch of sweaty socks actually. Taste is better, some hop bitterness, orange, caramel. That resiny sweatiness builds up though, whilst the overall impression is thin and watery. Not great.

50cl bottle. Pors golden hazy with thin head. Hoppy, dry lager. Rather far away fom bitter or ESB. Still refreshing and ejoyable. Would love to try raped version. Give it a go.

Bottle from Nissa, Hebden Bridge. Golden, no head. Medium bodied with a very light fruitiness in both aroma and taste, although a nice texture in the palate.

Marduk (5402) - Reval, ESTONIA - APR 23, 2014
500ml bottle. Clearish amber color. Tiny to almost no head. Bready, roast, malty, peanut husks in aroma. Hop pellets, dirty, milky, bitter taste. Dry bitterness in aftertaste.

500ml bottle (Drink Baar, Tallinn)
Diacetyl, sticky aroma. Gold, persistent head. Watery palate, decent carbonation. Dead feel. Sticky resins, but no depth to the hops, no aroma, no proper bitterness, just something chemical. Disappointing show, for English ale, this is poor. Finish does at least still carry the hops, but as I said, the hops were emascuated.
