COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Summer. Also available brewery conditioned and cold filtered in 500ml bottles.
Light Suffolk malts combine with Hereford and Worcester hops to form a quite magnificent ale, strong and rich in flavour yet light in colour, at its best when served cooled. Brewed with skill and patience at Britain's finest small brewer.

Out of a big honkiní bubba. Brown-copper with a nice white head. Has a lot of characteristics of a British barleywine. Fruit and spice. Solid body. Not sure whatís summery about it, but itís a nice beer.

Bottle from the St Peterís brewery. Poured a clear, deep golden colour with a thin, but dense white head. Aroma of Seville oranges, spiced rum and floral hops. Sweet, fruity initial flavours with some gooseberry, golden syrup and cereal. Finish was marmalade, honeycomb and astringently bitter resin.

Aroma: delicate, overall hoppy, some malty notes, little skunky; Appearance: dark golden, clear, medium short-lasting white foam; Taste: medium bitterness, medium(-) sweetness; Palate: medium body, little oily feel, quite soft carbonation, long bittersweet finish; Overall: very nice beer, high drinkability as for this percentage

Trochę za słodkawe to piwo i słodowe. Mała piana i jasnobrązowy kolor. Przy tym stężeniu alkoholu prawie się go nie wyczuwa, a finisz jest zdecydowanie owocowo-rozgrzewający. Posmak słodowy na długi czas pozostaje na podniebieniu

Beautiful ale with loads of fruit aromas and flavours. It tastes light even though itís a strong ale. Some people here did not like how it tasted cold and preferred it warm. As I always try my ales warm I canít comment on that ;)

Originally rated August 2004. My third St. Peterís experience. Poured a clean orange-amber colour with an off-white head. Left a good amount of lacing, but this brew had no visual carbonation. The nose was hoppy, but also very hard to pin-point exactly what it was... maybe hay. Taste was smooth at start and then finished with a bitter aftertaste. Could not taste the 6.5% alcohol, could only feel it in my head (after having a few beers previously). Again, St. Peterís has a brew that is very special.

500ml green bottle at Jerusalem Tavern. Clear amber, small head. Aroma is fairly strong alcohol, sweet grain, vague fruit ... taste follows, a little thin and a touch boozy - thin, mild carbonation, quick-finishing - decent enough, a tad thin.

500ml bottle. Pours orange with a medium head. Aroma is earthy and skunky hops. Taste is earthy. Skunk and earth in the finish but it works. Full in the mouth.
